INCOMING AUDIO CALL FROM Y/N Y/L/N VI LUHSAGE JOINED THE CALL
"Oh my, Cedric, how are you?" Violet's sugary sweet voice rang through the speaker of y/n's phone in excitement. "I've missed a fellow Hufflepuff!"
The boy beside y/n chuckled softly at Violet's comment. "Missed you too, Vi. How are you?"
"Oh, I'm good! Glad you found Y/n, I don't even know how we lost her!" The girl laughed on the other end of the line.
"How about you guys catch up once we find you?" Y/n spoke up, and Cedric nodded in agreement.
"Yep, for sure! See you soon!" Vi's voice faded out as Y/n hung up.
"So, how's Year 8 been treating my favourite Slytherin?" Cedric slung an arm causally around the younger girl's shoulder in a friendly manner, walking lazily through the fall streets of Hogsmeade.
Y/n sighed, chewing on the inside of her cheek. "I don't even know why I went back, to be fair. It's, different, for sure. Enough about me, how's my second favourite Hufflepuff?"
Cedric playfully rolled his eyes. "Second favourite? Ouch. But, I'm doing alright. Missing you lot though."
Y/n smirked, barely looking up at the boy. "Missed getting your ass handed to you in Quidditch?"
Cedric let a laugh slip out and he tried to bodycheck the smaller girl off of the sidewalk, who simply ploughed her shoulder into him in return, causing them both to hang off of each other's shoulders and stumbling through the streets like they had one too many.
"No, but seriously, I do miss you guys. If you ever need a new broom, feel free to come to Sprintwitches Sporting Needs. I'm working there." Cedric kicked a stone along the sidewalk.
"Ohh, stop it, you git." Y/n groaned dramatically. "You're only gonna make me miss you more once I leave later."
"Oh, there they are!" Cedric pointed to a Draco with his hands stuffed in his black suit pockets and staring at the pavement, Pansy borderline clutching on his arm (who, for reference, didn't even walk to Hogsmeade with them), a bored Blaise, Alastar mindlessly swiping on his phone and a nervous Violet.
Upon hearing Cedric's voice, Violet's head snapped up. Draco looked up, lips curled up in disgust at the sight of the Hufflepuff, whereas Blaise and Alastar seemed somewhat interested.
"Hufflepuff!" Violet squealed and ran in for a hug, who somewhat reluctantly moved away from y/n but energetically wrapped his arms around Vi's torso.
Y/n walked over to Blaise and Alastar, standing between the two boys and glancing over at Draco. "Thanks for attempting to come to my rescue."
Draco looked up, faint trace of a smile lingering on his lips. "Couldn't keep you whining like a lost puppy in the groupchat."
"Draco, y/n is a bitch, so the term puppy does fit." Alastar taunted, earning a rough slap across the shoulder from y/n, but they all laughed regardless.
"Okay, now, it's butterbeer time."
The teens headed into the back of The Three Broomsticks, sliding into the seats. Y/N sat down, joined quickly by Cedric on her left and Vi on her right, Draco directly in front of her who simply scowled at the boy beside her.
