Y/N POV
I laid spread out on the floor after moving into my new apartment and unpacking the few belongings I had. I didn't have a bed yet only a mattress but it will do for the time being. I moved to lay on the mattress and slowly drifted asleep.
Flashback
"(Y/N)....(Y/N)!!!"
"Whaaaat mooom"
"It's almost time for school sweetie please don't be late or your father won't be too happy"
I shot up from my bed rushing out of the house almost in tears. I was terrified of my father. He would get mad at the slightest of things but then he would start to throw thing and break stuff too, it terrified me how anger can take over a person so easily. I wiped my eyes.
'No one can see me like this'
Next thing you know you were on your way home when you smelled something burning, you look up and see it's my house that's on fire. I sprinted to the front by the mailbox but all you could do was fall to your knees and freeze in complete shock as you watched your house collapse. Eventually police and firefighters got there but my parents unfortunately did not make it out alive, only me.
End of flashback
Y/N POV
I wake up and sit up quickly as tears fall from my eyes that's when I heard a knock at the door.
'Who could it possibly be'
I open the door to see a short orange haired boy who quickly interrupted my train of thought.
"HELLO MY NAME IS SHOYO HINATA BUT PLEASE JUST CALL ME HINATA HELLO I AM A FIRST YEAR AT KARASUNO HIGH SCHOOL NICE TO MEET YOU HERE IS A WELCOME GIFT" the boy said as he gave me a pie
"Thank you my name is (L/N) (Y/N) but please just call me (Y/N) and I will be a third year at Karasuno." I said calmly
We talked for a while and ended up trading numbers because he live right down the street so we could walk to school together. Shortly after he left he sent me a text.

Y/N POV
I woke up and put on my school uniform
'Dayummm I look good'
I thought checking myself out in the mirror then I got a text from Hinata

Hey leaving in a sec I'll be there in a few
I decided to leave him on read so he knows I at least read it. I walked to the front of my complex to see him jumping and waving his arm as if he was lost in a huge crowd.
"(Y/NNNNNN)!!" He screams your name "ARE YOU EXCITED IM SO EXCITED"
"Eh I'm a bit nervous now" I say
"What's wrong? What's there to be nervous about" he asks in a soft tone
"Well at my old school all the boys would stare at me and try to get glances under my skirt and seeing the faces when they looked at me was creepy" I said softly
Hinata stands up straight and says "I WILL NOT LET ANY BOY TOUCH YOU" which made me laugh a little because he was shorter than you but deep down you appreciated him because you finally found a guy that is talking to you without being pervy and creepy. That's when we realized we had just arrived at Karasuno High School. Both of us paused for a second to take in everything.
