Chapter 1

~ 𝙸 𝚛𝚎𝚖𝚎𝚖𝚋𝚎𝚛 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚍𝚊𝚢 𝚠𝚎 𝚜𝚊𝚒𝚍 𝚐𝚘𝚘𝚍𝚋𝚢𝚎 ~

I lay in bed thinking about my dream boy, Jordan. The way his silky chestnut brown hair flows in the wind, every time I look at him his vibrant emerald green eyes go right inside my soul and give me butterflies. And that perfectly sculpted jawline every girl pictured that of a perfect boy along with the other features you'd imagine a pretty boy would possess.

"SAGE!" I hear my mom yell from downstairs.

"YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!"

"Shoot." I thought to myself

I was so busy thinking about Jordan I completely forgot about school. I run downstairs as fast as I can and give my mom a big hug before I walk out of the door and drive to school. When I entered the school late I was so worried that my science teacher, Mr. Brown was going to get mad at me. I enter the science lab and everyone looks at me and gives a snarky glare.

I was not affected by them because all that mattered was that Jordan was looking at me, I could feel myself shaking to the knees and a tingling feeling forming in my stomach.

"Miss SAGE, for the last time please sit down." The teacher spoke in a calm but firm voice

"Sorry, Mr. Brown.." I was so embarrassed, I had just zoned out in front of the whole class.

I went and took a seat beside my best friend, Ivy.

"What happened up there?" Ivy asked curiously

"Well, you know I like Jordan and I may have seen him looking at me" I whispered in her ear, sneaking a look to make sure no one hears me talk about my crush, especially Jordan himself.

"Ok class, today we will be doing a project and I will pick your partners" Mr. Brown grinned as he spoke

"Oh no" Ivy and I mumbled queasily

"Let's see," He grinned, "Sage you will be with. . . ." He thinks

"Jordan Hall!" Mr. Brown shouted and continued to announce the other partners, luckily for Ivy she got partnered with one of our other friends, Blossom.

I nervously looked to the back to see Jordan emerging from his chair and came walking to me, sitting beside me. I felt like I was shaking, Jordan never came this close to me, well he never even talked to me. Once Mr. Brown finished announcing the other teams, the bell rings making him dismiss the class for our next class.

"So, Sage. Should we work at your house tonight or mine?" Jordan asked me, waiting for a response.

I felt like I was about to throw up on the spot. Jordan and I get to hang out! Well technically besides the fact we're only "hanging out" for this assignment...

"We could work at my house, if you want.' I try to say calmly, making sure not to show my real thoughts and feelings on my face.

"That works, See you after school, Sage." Jordan said, smiling at me as he walked away for his next class. I felt a whole new sensation building up, I couldn't tell if it was because of his smile or him saying my name with his deep and alluring voice.

I run through the halls trying to find Ivy to share the big news about Jordan. I looked everywhere in the school, but still no trace of Ivy.

"Where could she be, I can't believe she just left without me!" I whispered under my breath as I sneak into the janitor's closet so I can text her without anyone knowing, since the teachers here are so strict about using our phones in school.
