Apoorvi's POV:

"Babe, you are late." I said to my boyfriend, Chris.
"Am sorry baby. I was busy with something important." He said.
"More important than me?" I asked jokingly that I am angry. I stayed quiet. "I am just joking." I chuckled. He chuckled too. "Where to today?" I asked as we got in his car. "Umm... Where ever you want." He said getting in the car too. "What about... McDonald's?" I suggested. "Okay." He said and started driving.

McDonald's~
We both already ordered our food and now Chris went to grab it. He brought it to where we sat and we both started eating.
After eating, in the car~
"Hey Apoorvi?"
"Yeah?"
"Let's go to the club tonight yeah?"
Chris asked as he stared driving.
"Sure" I smiled putting in my shades.
"I'll pick you by... 7?"
"Yup"
After a minute of drive, he stopped the car outside my house. "Am now gonna 'Netflix and Chill'... Wanna join?" I asked before getting off the car. "Sorry babe, but I got some work to do." He said and quickly kissed my lips. "No problem." I said. "Bye baby" Chris said. "Bye" I said and then got out of the car.
I unlocked the house. I went straight up to my room and changed into sweatpants and a sweatshirt. I checked the time and it was 3 pm. I put my hairs up in a messy bun and laid on my bed. I then started watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S. I love this show.

I sighed as I was not really enjoying the show. I need Chris to watch it with. I love him and to spend time with him. But, nowadays he is not really like he used to be. He's hiding something. What? I laid on a comfortable position and started to drift to sleep.

5 pm
I yawned as I rubbed my eyes to adjust to the light. I searched for my phone and saw it was 5 already. "I need to get ready now." I said to myself.

I was now all dressed and it was almost 7
I wore:



I went downstairs and sat on a couch in living room.
Soon enough, there was a knock on the door. I knew it was Chris. I opened the door and yes, it was Chris. "Hi baby, you are looking so beautiful." He said. "Thank you and you are not bad yourself." I said. We walked over to the car and Chris opened the car door for me. I smiled at got in. He got in too and then started to drive. On the way we were talking about random things. A few minutes later we there. Chris parked the car in the car park and then we headed inside.

We were dancing when Chris handed me a shot I drank it and after that one more. But Chris? He was just drinking one after another. He was now all drunk. He turned towards me, came closer to my face. "Baby, you look so beautiful and I love you very much" He said in a drunk manner and I just chuckled at his behavior. "I love you too Chris" I said and then he smiled and kissed my cheek. Oh god, he smells like alcohol so much. "I will be right back" he managed to say and then left to the bar area. To get more drink. He doesn't drink often but when he does, he is out of control. We were good friends all our childhood and I always knew that he had a little crush on me. Whenever anyone said that, he used to blush so hard and now we ended up dating. I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard a girl scream. She screamed so loud, that I could even hear her over the loud music. I looked around and saw the girl. I was facing her back. I ran over to her. I was freaked out by what I saw. I saw a boy who was laying on the floor with a knife stabbed in his back. The girl was crying. She sat near him and was asking him to wake up. I think he was her boyfriend. "Did someone called the ambulance?" I asked. A boy nodded as he also bent down to the stabbed boy. I went to him and asked, "Hey, do you know what happened to him?" "He stabbed him!!" The answered and started crying even more. "If you don't mind can you tell what exactly happened?" The boy asked. "We were both dancing. He left to get some drinks and then suddenly, someone stabbed him in the back and ran away. I tried to chase him but failed as I ran here to help James." She explained and one more tear rolled over her cheek as she looked at James. "Do not worry. Everything will be alright." I said as I hugged the girl. "I hope so" She said as she hugged back. Soon the ambulance was here and the cops too. She was interviewed a little by the cops before leaving. James was dead. RIP. After some inspection, we all learned that James was a police officer. 

Lilly (the girl's) POV:

This girl is really nice. We've never met before but still she is helping me out. "Hey, thank you so much." I said as I hugged her she hugged back. "Your welcome. What's your name by the way?" She asked as we pulled away. "Lilly." I said. "I am Apoorvi." She said. I smiled.

"Oh, he's my boyfriend." She said as her phone went off. The caller ID showed 'Chris💕' "Stay safe, bye." She said as she left. "I will. Bye" I said.

Apoorvi's POV:

"Babe, where are you?" Chris asked as I answered the call. "Are you outside?" He asked. "No, I'm in the club right now. Meet me in the parking lot." I said. "But wait, are you still drunk?" I asked. "I don't know. My head hurts." He said. He is still drunk I think. "Will you be able to make it to the parking lot?" I asked. "Yeah" He answered. "Alright, come on." I said and hung up. Soon enough, Chris was here. "I'll drive." I said. He nodded and handed me the keys for the car. We got in an I started to drive. The drive was silent but it wasn't the awkward silence. "Drop me to my house and then you can take my car to your house." Chris said breaking the silence. "No, it's okay. I'll walk." I shrugged. "No baby, it won't be safe." Chris said concerned. "It's okay Chris. I will be safe." I said. He nodded and then closed his eyes.

"Chris? We're here." He got up and looked around. We got out of the car. "Are you sure you want to walk? You should take the car instead." Chris said holding his head. Aww, he cafes for me even when he is drunk. "Chris, I will be fine." I assured him. "Okay then, bye" He said and went inside. I also started walking to my house. As I was walking I felt someone is following me. I stopped and turned around but I couldn't see someone. I just shrugged and walked forward. Then, a boy of my age starts walking me and he was continuously staring at me with a smirk on his face. He had everything my parents warned me about when they told me not to walk alone in the dark. "...Um.. Hi" I said awkwardly.
