"Stand up for what is right regardless of who is committing the wrong"

The clunky elevator came to a halt when it reached the underground jungle representing the trial room.

Monokuma and Monokassi were waiting for us, each in their respective seats.

I walked to my podium as the others stood at theirs...we were ready to begin.

—————->TRIAL: START!<———————

"IT WAS HISOKA!" Etsuko shouted mockingly.

"SHUT UP WOMEN!" He retorted bitterly, crossing his arms.

"Ahem...let's move on please nyah." Mew rolled her eyes.

"We should find out the killer first right? Isn't that the most important?" Tadashi started, I nodded as the floor opened for discussion.

"Well you see...when the motive was present everyone was locked in different rooms. Maybe someone who was in a room with Ryu could give us some intel." I added. "I was with him the first round."

"I was with him the second." Yui said quietly.

"I was the third nyah." Shiori yawned.

"Anyone have information?" Etsuko asked.

"Nope."

"Sorry but no nyah."

"I do!" Yui responded eagerly. "Ryu was actually quite nervous when they were stuck with me! Poor poor soul. He had gotten a note from Honoka the same day asking to meet in the gender neutral bathroom at 2 am the next night. Shrub was so confused cause they hadn't talked much before but I told them to trust Honoka, she is a sweetheart you must admit. But alas that trip to the bathroom led straight to his demise! I'm so very sorry for pushing him right into her trap." Yui finished, an upset expression on her porcelain face.

"What? I never wrote Ryu a letter!" Honoka yelled.

"Oh really?" Yui raised an eyebrow.

"I didn't! I promise! I'm not mean! I'd never kill someone!" She cried, her blue eyes growing misty.

"Shh Hon it's okay." Nao comforted her.

"We can easily settle this dispute, I have the letter right here in my hands, I also have a piece of paper and a pen. Honoka can sign her name and we'll see if the two signatures match." Yui said matter of factly.

She handed Honoka the pen. The nervous girl shakily wrote her name on the paper and gave Yui it back.

"I'm interested to see where this goes." Emika mumbled.

Yui flipped over the papers to reveal...an identical looking signature!

"You see, I was right." She smirked.

"Wha...what..." Honoka whispered, trembling at Yui's proclamation.

"Bullshit! There no way Honoka would write that!" Nao screamed at her.

     "Hush." Misaki silenced him.

"I hate to say this but what about the rope in Honoka's room? Why would it be in there if she didn't do the crime? It's not like anyone can get into her room..." Etsuko brought up.

"Honoka never left her room last night to commit the crime or bring the rope to her room. I was with her in the evening." Nao muttered.

"That's correct! He was tucking me into bed last night and read me a story!" Honoka chimed in.
