"Still Janet, you hit an animal." She got out the car seeing was it ok
"It's still alive, let's take it to the animal hospital."
"But Toni, what about our date?"
"You can spell my name later, let's just make sure that this dog is taken care of." She picked the dog up sitting in the backseat with it. I shook my head at her and drove to the animal hospital like she asked.
I just couldn't wrap my head around she really wanted to save this dog. It's just a dog , like come on man.
"Toni we missed our reservations."
"Let's take a walk on the beach and talk baby, it's ok. I wasn't hungry anyways."

A fucking dog y'all, seriously a damn dog. I drove to the animal hospital as she got out first with blood all over her dress and that was my favorite dress of hers.
"hey uh we didn't see him and we accidentally hit him. I'm so sorry, it looks like his bleeding is coming from the inside..." I let her walk with the nurse. Toni is out her mind sometimes, like seriously. We left the hospital at 10, everything was closed.
"Now what, we missed everything cause you want to play captain save a dog."
"Janet, say if it was you. Wouldn't you want somebody to help you. Animals can't talk like you and me, they can't you if they're in pain or not. If we would hit I know I would want someone to try and save me."
I just looked at her making sense of what she was trying to say.

"Still up for that walk on the beach?"
"Yea just let me get out of this for a moment." She took off her getting a back up one from the trunk.
"Ok how do I look." I almost bit my damn lip off. I didn't even care about the other dress because this one my favorite.

"Who can't? I'll pull this thing over and eat your soul out of you. Don't even play with me like I won't."

"I think my body could tell you that." I pulled in to the beach opening my sunroof so we could look up at the stars. I got in the back and she followed suit.
