Chapter Three

Twilight's POV

I was breathing hard, unable to stop my tears from falling. First, my forehead and now my back was hurt, I can literally tell that there will be bruises right away. The wolf's teeth was nearing my face and it was growling.

My life is going to end now.

I shut my eyes tightly and wait for the pain to arrive but, unexpectedly I received saliva instead. The wolf was licking my face.

My whole body frozen still, not knowing what to do. I allowed the wolf to whatever it wants. Mentally I tried to reassure myself that the wolf will not harm me.

The wolf sniffed me, breathing in my scent as if my scent was intoxicating it. There was a sharp intake from the wolf. After a long while of smelling me, the wolf stood up high at its full height.

Slowly and surely the wolf moved itself away from me. I took this chances to get up and was shocked. The wolf itself was bigger then me. Taller, by one head.

Then it hit me, there was once when Mother told me that in this world there were unnatural living being.

Could it be, this was also one of the unnatural living being?

I looked at the wolf in front of me, it's eyes was red in colour and it was staring intensively at me. I kept my eye contacted with the wolf making sure I did not make any wrong move, while stepping backwards.

My heart was pounding with ever steps I take the wolf's red eyes never leaves mine. Soon, my back came in contact with dirt soil, hair buried within the soil. I breathe in slowly, my chest falls up and down and finally.

"Let's compromise, I will go my way and you will go your own way," I spoked. My eyes travels from the wolf's red eyes to its thick shiny black fur, it looks soft but I dare not to touch it.

The wolf let out a small growl indicating he was not please with my words and took one step forward. I raise both my hands shielding my face from the wolf.

I heard bone creaking which frightens me more, my whole body moves on its own by kneeling down on the ground I began bagging for mercy.

"P-please d-don't eat me," I shuttered with my lips apart trembling unable to control myself anymore.

"Don't be scared I won't hurt you," came a man voice.
