Sophia:Echo! You got a letter!

I got up from the dining table with half toast in my hand and went to the door where my mother, Sophia Moonstone, called me. I took the letter and started reading.

"Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" 

Echo: It can't be... -I ran towards the kitchen, put down my toast and opened the letter quick.

My parents gathered on the door with a slight smile on their faces.

"HOGWARTS SCHOOL of  WITCHCRAFT and  WIZARDRY

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock,Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)

Dear Ms. Moonstone, We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

Echo: I can't believe this, I'm going to Hogwarts!- I ran and hugged my parents- Did you knew about this?

Sophia: Of course we did, Echo! - my parents faced eachother- We couldn't send you early because, you know, our family was being chased. The headmaster agreed with us when we told him that homeschooling would be safer for you. We think everything's fine by now and we spoke with Dumbledore and he said it would be a pleasure to have you at Hogwarts.

Echo: Wow... thank you! - I smiled - but, I need you to tell me more about Hogwarts, since you two studied there- we sat down to finish our breakfast.

Philip: Once you get there you'll have the sorting ceremony, where the sorting hat will tell you which house you belong to - my father said 

Sophia: Which will obviously be Hufflepuff, just like us! You're a pure Hufflepuff, Echo- my mom smiled with such a glitter in her eyes

Philip: Exactly! You'll know more stuff once you get there. You'll be able to learn how to play quidditch with me, the master of that game - he laughed

Echo: So... Tell me everything!

Hello! I'm starting this new universe based on the Harry Potter series with this inspiring new character. I really enjoyed writing this story and I hope you like it too!
As some of you may know, English is not my first language. Writing in english is something I'm trying to do and so far I'm really enjoying it, but I might mispell some words at some point.
