Lucifer's POV-
Today was another day, a day like any other. Lord Diavolo had assigned stacks of paperwork he didn't want to do to me to complete. It's days like this that make me regret pledging my ultimate loyalty to him. I groaned and buried my head into my arms trying to rest. Realizing I can't afford to fall asleep, I got up and and went down to the kitchen to get a cup of coffee. Once I was in the kitchen, I walked straight towards the coffee machine. "Hey Lucifer, working late again?" Beel asked, taking a bite of whatever he was eating. "Yes unfortunately." I said pouring the coffee into a mug. "Hmm.. Alright just don't overwork yourself. We all worry about you y'know." Beel said shoving more food into his mouth. "That's sweet of you to say Beel. I'll take your words into consideration." I smiled and left the kitchen, back up the stairs and to my office.

Guess mine is not the first heart broken

"Hmm..?" I stopped and looked around for the source of the noise.

My eyes are not the first to cry

"..." I picked up my pace to follow the source of the noise.

I'm not the first to know

'I'm close I know it. Just please don't stop singing.... Found you!' I found myself standing in front of M/n's door, the sound of music and singing coming from inside.

I carefully opened the door to get a better listen. I poked my head through the door and felt a smile creep up onto my face. There he stood, singing his heart out. It was almost hypnotic. The way the lyrics flowed effortlessly with the music, his deep soothing voice making the listening experience all the better.

But now

I know I should go back to my office since I have mountains of paperwork to complete but I  just can't seem to pull away. Before I knew it, I had stepped inside his room and closed the door behind me. It seemed as though he was too distracted by singing as he didn't hear me come in. I took sip of my coffee and leaned against the wall behind me and enjoyed the music.

My head is saying, "Fool forget him"
My heart is saying, "Don't let go"
Hold on to the end
That's what I intend to do
I'm hopelessly devoted to you

'I want him to write a song about me... Wait.. WHAT!?' I blushed profusely at the thought. As embarrassing as it was, I couldn't deny it was true. The pleasantly uncomfortable butterfly feeing I got in the pit of my stomach just from listening to him sing to no one in particular made me kind of frightened as what I would experience if he was singing about me. As scared as I may have been, it is a feeling I long for. 'Oh of all things unholy I'm so in love with this man..'

But now

"I had no idea you could sing so well M/n." I said as I took another sip of my coffee. "Gah! Oh jeez-!! Lucifer!? Thanks but what are you doing here? I thought you had work to do.?" He asked slightly startled by my presence. "My deepest apologies darling but I was just on my way back from the kitchen, I had to grab a cup of coffee before I head back to my office. I have a lot work to do." I replied. "Oh.. Well then what are you doing here?" He asked, resting his head on my shoulder as he took the mug out my hands and took a sip.

I glared softly at him as he gave me back my cup and gave me a lazy smile as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I let out a sigh but returned his smile nonetheless, "Well I was going to head back but I heard you singing and may or may not have gotten distracted." "Wait are you serious..? The Lucifer got distracted?! I don't believe this." He teased through small laughs. I pinched his cheek in retaliation. "Ow! Owww!! Okay okay I'm sorry! All I meant by it was you rarely get distracted, so it shocked me when you said you did! Now will you please let go, it hurts!!" He whined. I chuckled at his response and let go, "What can I say darling, you're a hard man to resist." "Okayyy Luci, being bold are we?" He whispered into my ear, sending a shiver down my spine as ran his hands up and down my hips. He let out a deep chuckle as he got the reaction he wanted from me.

"Annnyyyways~ come on let's go. I'll help you." He said drawing out his words. He pulled away from the hug and grabbed my hand, proceeding to drag me to my office. "M/n wait. Please slow down. Stop ignoring me please M/n, I'm getting dangerously close to spilling my coffee." I pleaded with the human, but my pleas felt upon deaf ears as he continued to drag me towards my office. "Goodness..!" I huffed out as he finally stopped in front of my office door. He opened it and pulled me inside, shoving me into my desk chair and pulling up a spare beside me.

"M/n I understand you want to help but there is no need to be so rough." I complained. "Oh hush.. We both know you like it rough.~" He teased so carelessly. "D-don't say such things so openly!" I shouted as a deep blush spread across my face. He tilted his head in confusion, "Why? No one's here except for you and me." I sweatdropped at his obliviousness but he changed the topic to avoid any arguments, "Anyways I said I would help so that's what I'm here to do!" He flashed me a bright smile as waited for me to explain how I wanted it done. I chuckled and began explaining.

Another oneshot done! I decided to try out a new format of writing for this one. Let me know if you guys prefer this way of writing. If you guys do I'll probably go back and reformat all my previous chapters. Anyway enjoy the four horse.😌💅🏻✨
