Half blood high. It was Reyna and Chiron's new idea to keep the roman and Greek camps together through out the year. During the summer Greeks would go back to camp half blood and the Romans would go back to camp Jupiter. But for the school year us half bloods all had to go to school together. Oh and as well as learning sword fighting and shit we had to learn math and science and a bunch of other mundane lessons.

So by the time the bell rang to signify the beginning of school I was already ready to stab someone. I spotted Percy and Annabeth but I decided not to walk over to them instead I headed of to my first lesson.

I reached the math corridor and counted the door numbers under my breath "5...6...7...8...9...10...11" I slipped into the classroom only to find all the seats occupied accept one. Which happened to be in between the two cutest people I had ever met. I sat down and started pulling my books out of my bag. I glanced to my right where Will Solace was sitting he was straitening his books and pencils so they were all in line with each other. I couldn't help but laugh quietly at how obsessive he was with the way things looked. As I straitened up and put my books on the desk I glanced to my left at the cute girl who sat there. She had short black hair with a fringe that was swept to the left. She wore a baggy MCR shirt with a leather jacket, black skinny jeans and large black boots. She seemed to sense me looking at her and she glanced up from her text book. Our eyes made contact for the briefest of moments before we both quickly looked back down at our work.

It was at this moment our teacher decided to arrive. She burst in through the door backwards a large pile of books in her arms. She dropped them on her desk and swept her eyes around the classroom. The majority of teachers at Half blood high were demigods or were at least aware of the existence of them. There were a few mortal teachers, though, who had no idea about the Greek/roman gods. We were lucky enough to have one of these teachers as our maths teacher.

Our math teacher strode up to the white board and wrote her name on it. She then underlined her name and drew a box around it. " My name is Ms Ravonci" she said "mind the pronunciation RAV-OON-SI" she drew a line underneath each section of her name as she said it. The girl sat next to me muttered something under her breath that sounded like "kill me now". Ms Ravonci walked up to Will, picked up his math book and started flicking through "Ah yes here we are" she said pointing at a page in the book "page 256 everyone. Fractions! Fractions are simply my favourite topic! Don't you agree?" She looked expectantly as if she thought we would all be bouncing up and down in our seats. "Right well seeing as we have a class full of different ages I will come to each of you separately to show you which questions to complete." She started circulating around the room assigning questions and extra tasks to people.
