''Hurry up! We're coming late for school again!''. Darius rushed into the new sneakers he recently bought, took his jacket, and ran to the front door. Seraphine has been waiting for longer than thirty minutes for him to get ready. ''What took you so long to get ready man?'' said seraphine. Darius replied with ''I don't know, I just had one of those nightmares as usual...''.

When they walked to the car, seraphine notices that Darius is all nervous and anxious. ''Why are you acting too weird? Is something up?'' Darius shook his head and said '' No, No, Nothing at all, it's just the new semester and people who are here... it's all a bit much and scary if you ask me. ''Ahw, you shouldn't be scared! Maybe you will make some new friends within the time of the new period.''

Just when Darius was about to start the car and drive away, he heard a voice screaming'' Hey watch it dwarf!''. Darius hit the breaks as fast and hard as he could. He looked into his mirror and saw a boy stand 6 inches away from the backside of his car. When Darius stepped out and was ready to get mad, he saw this boy standing. Tall, blue/green eyes, holding his books and having his backpack on his back. Darius immediately said sorry for driving without looking. The boy said'' oh that's fine! thank god you didn't hit me though, could have been worse!'' Darius was relieved he took it well and said'' haha yes! I mean I can still hit you but that wouldn't do you any good''. The boy laughed and walked it off.

When he walked away, Darius shouted a question '' What is your name by the way?!'' The boy replied with ''You will get it when you hit me with the car!'' Darius looked confused and went back into the car. Seraphine asked what happened which Darius replied with '' I almost hit someone with the car...'' Seraphine looked flabbergasted and stared at the backside of the car. ''Who did you almost hit with your car?'' Darius didn't know the name of the boy, but he knew what he looked like ''a tall boy from Wisconsin I think''

''How do you know he's from Wisconsin?''

Darius said '' I don't know it felt it...''. Seraphine thought his brother was a little off but ignored it. After that, they started the car again and drove to school.

When they arrived, they took their backpacks, schoolbooks and went straight to the classroom. They weren't in the same class, so they went to their subject of the first hour. Darius had biology and Seraphine had math. Darius was a senior student who is just about to start his exam year. Seraphine is a junior student who will do her exams next year.

When Darius enters the class, he sits down and took his stuff out of his bag. Just when the class was about to begin, a tall boy with blue-green hair came into the classroom and was introduced by the teacher '' Hi everyone, this is Brandon, he is new to our school and he will be our new student!''. At the same time, Darius was surprised that he saw him again. As Brandon sits down and took his stuff out, he said '' Ahh... if it isn't the driver who almost ran me over..'' Darius replied with '' I'm still so sorry... I'm not feeling like myself lately..'' oh that's fine'' said, Brandon. "we all have so our moments''. Darius nodded his head and looked back at the teacher again.

Teacher '' As we will continue with hematology, you will make pairs of two to do the project. choose a partner!''

Brandon immediately asked Darius to work with him. Darius said '' yes, of course, that's the least I can do!''. Brandon laughed and began to work.
