I have been at this school for a week now and I found a lot about my family history and let's just say it's been a long week

Josie: Mona you said you would leave this school once you got everything on your family history

I look at Josie

Mona: There is just this one thing I noticed here Josie and this is what I need your help with the past generation of deaths that happened to the family

I point to the Tyler Lockwood name

Josie: Why do you want to know how they died

Mona: Because it's part of history and that's what I am here to find out

Josie: You are going to have to ask my dad, talk to my dad about the Lockwood's deaths though

Mona: Why do I have to ask your dad

Josie: All the deaths of the founders are known to us students all but the Lockwood's he is real secretive about it

Mona: Well then I guess I got no choice then

I am sitting outside reading another grimoire and then hope sits next to me

Mona: What do you want Hope

Hope gives me this look has if she is seeing an alien

Hope: Are you a Lockwood

Mona: What makes you think that

Mona: Hope I never got to know my dad and my mom she told me it was for the best my entire life that I let him go, I know my dad is dead Hope but the thing is my dad he never got the chance to see me grow up and I want to know why he stayed away from me or who killed him

I feel a tear go down my cheek and I touch it, I wipe them away

Hope: Mona I know what it's like to lose someone, I lost my dad and all I wanted was my family whole but something happened and I lost both of my parents, your lucky to still have your mom Mona

Rage filled me immediately

Mona: Hope I was raised has a outsider my entire life and it was because my mother wanted to hide her greatest shame, you don't know my life and you never will because this is temporary

I got up with the grimoire and walked to the door and then I looked dead at Hope

Mona: My family Hope never existed because of the supernatural world and the truth is I am here to do research nothing more nothing less, and by the way you should really work on your speeches

I walked to the library and finished the grimoire, I sat down and thought about home

~Flashback~

Mom: Mona, what do you do when you magic gets out of hand ?

I was clutching my fist trying to take control of my power but I couldn't

I looked at my mom and saw the room on fire to everything floating along with my mom it was enough to snap me out of it

She came up to me and grab my wrist and got to my eye level

She let go and looked down at me

I felt terrible, she snapped her fingers and fixed everything

She walked to the door, opened it, and then looked at me

Mom: Powerful beings are always made never born, this world will break your soul to the best of it's ability and if it fails to do so only then do you rise into your greatness Mona remember that

I looked at the fire with a deep angry inside of me for what Hope said about how we are the same, fuck everyone here
