I was walking home when I saw her. At first I wasn't sure what I saw, until I got closer.I saw the fear on that little girls face, as she sliced her throat open. She was only 5, but she knew exactly what she was doing and worse, she wanted it. The last thing she ever said was, 'don't let it get you.' If only I had listened...

I knew I should have ran, but I couldn't. I called the police and awaited their arrival , but they never showed up. Well, not before the creature could claw its way out of the child's stomach, spreading her intestines and organs all over the floor, spraying her blood everywhere like a hose, and go after me.

The monster was like a large chunk of flesh and blood. It walked on all fours like a dog. It's elbows and knees faced backwards , and you could see it's spine protruding out of its back. It was like someone had taken a human, thrown it into open flames and broken all of its bones until it was so disfigured it was no longer human. It was covered in blisters and bubbling flesh, with no skin to cover it. It's eyes were bloodshot and daemonic.

It would have terrified other people, but instead it seemed kind of beautiful, the lure of the creature was too powerful. It seemed to recognise me, as if we had met before. It took one last look  at me and then took out everyone in the surrounding area. It encouraged me to follow, like a sweet melody. I knew curiosity killed the cat, but maybe it wouldn't kill me. I mean, I've survived the so called 'end of the world' before, why should it be different now ?

I followed it all the way to a strange looking tree, it's aura felt off. It was covered in chains and had a stone path leading towards it. It looked a little like the shape of a chair, so I thought, why not sit on it? Bad idea. The tree ripped itself open, covering me in bugs and swallowing me inside. Of course, don't sit in a chair that a daemonic creature leads you to, but it didn't seem like such a bad idea at the time. All i know is, I'm never doing that again.

The tree was an odd sort of shape on the outside, but the inside was worse. It looked like a bizarre sort of tunnel, like the one I saw in that coralline film, but dirt and roots, a lot of bugs too. It seemed to go on forever, I wish it didn't end, because what I was met with at the end was worse than any nightmare ever dreamt. It was this cave of soil, roots, moss and other things, but above all else, full of whatever led me here. There were all different kinds.

One of the monster things was green, red and black with scales and spikes running down its crooked back. It had bright yellow eyes and thin, narrow pupils looking directly at me. It opened its mouth to reveal razor-like teeth and 10 tongues that looked like the metal blade of a saw. It stood on two legs with the other two dangling beside it, almost like a human but much more bent out of shape. It had long spindly fingers and long claws of them as well and it's long bony toes.

All the monsters looked like different mixes of this daemonic beast and the first one I saw. It terrified me to the core, I knew moving would alert the rest but that's all my body wanted to do, run. I sprinted past all of them to what looked like a cliff over a pool of water, no clue how deep, there was no way around and I couldn't turn around now, so I jumped, falling and falling and falling it felt like forever before I finally hit the water. It felt like a relief and another reason to panic at the same time, I no longer had to fall, but would I drown...
