There was a kid named Karuko, Karuko just finished middle school and moved, over the summer break, to a city called Utikai. Karuko liked to play volleyball over the summer break, Karuko practised a lot. Karuko joined a school called Kenma high school, it was the first day of school and he knew no one or where his classes were.
When Karuko was walking down the hallway trying to find his class, he heard a tall boy talking about the school's boy volleyball team and how they needed players. So Karuko walked up to the boy and said "umm... were you saying that the school has a volleyball team?"
"Ya, I was saying about how the team needs more players why are you interested in joining the team," said the boy.
"Actually, I am interested, do you know where I can find the team captain, I want to go ask him if I can join the team." Said Karuko.
"Well, you're looking right at him, my name is Hiechi what is yours." Said Hiechi.
"My name is Karuko do you think I can join the volleyball team?" Said Karuko.
"Ya come to the cafeteria after school and ill show you the gym and the team" Said Hiechi.
(6 hours later, inside the cafeteria)
"Hey Karuko" said Hiechi.
"Hey," said Karuko.
"so, it's time to show you the court and the team follow me," said Hiechi.
Karuko and Hiechi went to the gym, on the way there Hiechi told Kakuro what every room that they passed is. When they got to the gym Hiechi introduced everyone.
"This is Levi, and he plays middle blocker, this is kuroo and he plays middle blocker, this is bokuto and he also plays middle blocker, this is Koshi and he plays left spiker, this is nishinoya and he plays libero."
"Im a spiker what do you play Karuko." Said Hiechi.
"I play setter" said Karuko.
"you do, good we really needed a setter by the way we have a first-year like you coming in on a scholarship he is also a setter." Said Hiechi.
"Wait a first year is coming on a scholarship for volleyball, he must be really good maybe even better than me, ooh that's bad because If he is really good, I won't be on the court for the longest and I will have to sit back all the time, I will not let him be better than me!" thought Karuko.
"Hey Karuko, are you ok?" said Hiechi.
"ya I'm fine sorry," said in an uneasy voice.
