Chapter 2

Right after Karuko found out the news the team started practice. Karuko kept serving very fast shots that the spikers could not hit. Then the team was starting to get a bit annoyed at Karuko because he kept serving the worst shots. Then Hiechi said to Karuko "Hey here's some water (tossing him a water bottle) I Think you should take a break because your shots are a bit umm... clumsy."

"ok," said Karuko sigh...

"ok ill throw you guys some serves till Karuko is.... Better" Said Hiechi

"If I keep this up, I might never get to go on to the court during a real match I have to get better," said Karuko. After practice, Karuko goes home when he gets there he says "Hi mom I'm home"

"Where on earth were you, you didn't come home so I thought someone might have kidnaped you, are you ok did anything happen," said Karuko's mom Emiko.

"oh, that's right I didn't tell you that I joined the school's boy volleyball team today and we had to practise today sorry for scaring you," said Karuko.

"oh, thank God that your safe don't ever scare me like that ever again, your lucky that I'm letting this slide young man," said Emiko.

"I'm going to go to sleep, by the way, I had some food on the way here so I'm not hungry good night."

(one week later 6 am inside the kitchen)

Karuko is packing his launch because the school's launch is disgusting. Right after packing his lunch he goes to the front door and says, "By mom be I'll be back around 2:15 bye" Then Karuko goes to school when Karuko gets to school he sees Nishinoya then Karuko walks over to him to say hi after they talk for a bit Karuko askes Nishinoya if they can go practise receives during lunch. Nishinoya accepts then they go to their classes, when Karuko goes to his class then hears the principal call for Karuko on the school coms.

"Karuko can you come down to the office please" Karuko was really confused about what was going on, when he was walking down the hall to the office, he saw a kid through the window in the office bouncing a volleyball on his hands with wireless headphones around his neck and smooth light blue hair.

When he got to the office the principal said: "Karuko this is Natsume he's here on a scholarship I think you will like each other I would like you to show him around the school."

Then Karuko was showing him around when Natsume said "Do you play any sports because I play volleyball, actually that's the reason I'm here they said that they wanted me on their team because I'm so good, so then I did I bit of convincing to get me a scholarship here."

"ya I also play volleyball," said Karuko.

"ugh this guy is so annoying he won't stop talking and why is he so tall" thought Karuko.

"Did you say something Karuko" said Natsume.

"crap I said that out load what do I do" thought Karuko.

"Sorry I was just saying how you must be good to get a scholarship here," said Karuko.
