Chaeyoung was curled up on the couch when a knock came on her door. The pounding persisted and the Australian feared that Jimin had came back.

She cautiously approaches the door and peaked through the peep hole. To her relief, the person standing on the other side of the door is Lisa. Chaeyoung releases the breath she hadn't known she was holding and opened the door.

Lisa surges through the door and pulls Chaeyoung into her embrace.

Lisa: Are you okay Chaeyoung-ah? What happened?

The Thai pulls away and searches Chaeyoung's body for any signs of injury.

Lisa: Are you hurt?

Chaeyoung shakes her head.

Chaeyoung: I'm okay.

Lisa releases a sigh before turning over to close the door. She leads Chaeyoung to the couch and settles down next to her.

Chaeyoung: I'm sorry for calling so late. It's just I didn't know who to call...

Lisa: Shhh, it's okay. I'm glad you called me.

The Thai reaches over and places a comforting hand on Chaeyoung's lap.

Lisa: What happened? Why did you call me so suddenly?

Chaeyoung takes in a deep breath before answering.

Chaeyoung: I saw him again. My ex-boyfriend. He confronted me today.

Lisa's eyes hardened as soon as Chaeyoung had uttered the word ex-boyfriend. The Thai had felt herself grow a sudden overprotectiveness over the Australian beside her.

Lisa: Did he do anything to you? Why is he here?

Chaeyoung could only shake her head before breaking down in tears.

Chaeyoung: I don't know what he wants from me Lisa. We ended things a while ago, and I told him I don't him to be in my life anymore.

The Australian's head dropped defeatedly into her hands.

Chaeyoung: But now he's found me, and he says he wants to get back together.

Chaeyoung's shoulders began to shake as she lets out more tears.

Chaeyoung: I've worked so hard Lisa. I've tried my best to start anew. And right when I'm starting to feel okay again, he's weaved his way back into my life.

Lisa's heart broke at the sight of the confident and independent Australian she knows breaking down before her.

She clenched her fists tightly as she feels the anger build up inside her when thinking about the latter's ex.

How dare he cause such pain and sorrow to someone as beautiful and loving as Chaeyoung.

Lisa pulls Chaeyoung's weeping figure into her arms and quietly consoles her.

Lisa: I won't let him harm you Chaeyoung-ah. He doesn't deserve someone like you. I promise I won't allow him to hurt you ever again.

Chaeyoung shakes her head, a defeated look was etched on her face.

Chaeyoung: Jimin, he's... he's part of a really powerful gang in the mafia circle. He has connections all over the world. I didn't think that he'd have any in Korea, hence why I came here.

She looks up towards Lisa, all hope devoid from her eyes.

Chaeyoung: But seeing that he's found his way here, I guess I was wrong. There's no way to make him stop Lisa. I don't want you to get roped up with my problems.
