From the beginning, Allen Lau considered himself a visionary.
Some called him delusional. Some called him a fool. With the support of his people, however, he rose from a mere electrical engineer to the world-renowned State Counsellor of Wattpadia, the country where stories live.
But it was never going to last. A literary coup orchestrated by Ken Kim, president of the Webtoon Party, has seized control of the country. With Wattpadia under his grasp, Kim is set to lead Wattpadia down a dark new path. The world is in shock and the future is looking grim, especially considering the new ruler's longtime subservience to Naver, a warmongering state on the other side of the globe.
Currently, Lau is confined to house arrest and forced to watch his country fall apart from the inside. The man is a shrewd politician, but can he worm his way out of this one?
