I PUSHED the car door's open before stepping my feet on the ground seeing a five star hotel and casino infront of me. My eyes roamed around the front exterior of the building that proves why it is one of the most beautiful and expensive hotel and casinos in the world.
"Good evening ms. Vixen kanina pa po kayo hinihintay ng daddy niyo" my eyes shifted to the man standing infront of me who's name is Ronan, one of my dad's men. His head is slightly bowing showing me respect of being his boss' daughter.
I can't help but to smirk as I was reminded that everything I have is because of my dad, like he always used to told me. The expensive and luxurious lifestyle and even the respect of other people is because of my dad, nothing is really mine.
Inayos ko na ang tayo ko kasabay ng pag ayos ko sa suot kong off shoulder long dress. I raised my head high and walked towards the luxurious hotel and casino's entrance following Ronan's guide towards where my dad is.
Early this afternoon my father called me telling me to join him in dinner tonight. He rarely take me to his dinner for show like he's a proud father of me kaya sa tingin ko ay pareho lamang ang dahilan ngayong gabi.
We stopped infront of a big wooden door that is 10 feet high. Ronan opened the door for me as I prepared my sweetest smile kasabay ng pag pasok ko sa malaking kuwarto. My eyes easily found my father sitting on the big round table in the middle of the room together with a man who I think have the same age as him.
"Oh my daughter is here" my father said happily as he saw me, like he is really happy seeing me and doesn't despised me for years. Ngumiti ako ng matamis sa aking ama at sa lalaking kaharap nito.
"Good evening dad and mister" magiliw kong bati bago umupo sa tabi ng aking ama. The man infront of us have a heartily laugh for some unknown reason.
Umayos ako ng upo at tumingin sa lalaki sa harapan ko, he's smiling at me and I was about to smile back when I saw an emotion in his eyes. His eyes roam around my face and bare shoulders na tila ba hinuhubaran ako ng kaniyang mga tingin, I feel so disgusted. I shifted my gaze from him and pretended to drink the glass wine served to us. I suddenly felt a heavy feeling surrounding the air.
My father stood up beside me kaya sa kaniya ako napatingin. He is looking at the man infront us before shifting his gaze in me na agad naman niyang binawi.
"Mr. Thomas this is Vixen Morelli my daughter" I stood up when I realized that this is the 'meet and greet' portion like what my dad always does infront of everybody. Being a proud father my ass.
"And Vixen this is Mr. Brutus Thomas, owner of Thomas shipping lines" I fakely smiled at the man who extended his hands for me na tinanggap ko naman. I need to put a good show tonight or else I'll be a punching bag later.
"Nice to meet you Vixen" his smiles sent shivers to my spine as I saw lust his eyes. I tried so hard to conceal the disgust that creeps in my body that surely visible in my face.
"Nice to meet you too Mr. Thomas" I made my voice normal as I could. Babawiin ko na sana ang aking kamay ng humigpit ang hawak niya rito at humaplos ang hintuturo niya sa aking mga daliri bago ito tuluyang binitawan. I am not dumb not to know what his stares and gestures means and I literally wanted to throw up. Agad naman akong bumalik sa pag kakaupo at pasimpleng kinuha ang wet wipes ko na nasa clutch bag and wiped my hands like trying to get rid of any remains I had from the hand shake.
Dinner was served after I sat down na agad naming inumpisahang kainin. I can't help but to look around trying to look for any hints of what kind of dinner is we having. Madalas ay business dinners ang aking pinupuntahan kasama si daddy but this doesn't seems to be a business dinner. I think that this is just a normal dinner with Mr. Thomas whom I don't know why my father and him know each other.
