"WAAAAHHHH! grabe naman yung daddy mo Vixen!" my friend, Valerie, exclaimed after I told her what happened to me.
After the robbing incident ay nag pa deretso nalamang ako sa bahay ng kaibigan ko. She's my saving grace, she didn't hesitate to let me in her house.
"Pero paano na pala yung asawa mo?" she asked me curiously that became my question also. He didn't chase after me, does it mean he's setting me free? ngunit paano ang mga pinirmahan kong certificate at contract? I sighed, being clueless at all.
"Hindi ko rin alam eh" I answered truthfully. Nothing is clear for now aside from the fact that I am free from my father and Spyros and putting my friend's life in danger for sheltering me.
If someone will see us right now tiyak na matatawa o maawa sila sa amin. I looked so problematic gayon na rin ang kaibigan kong iniisip na rin ang mga problema ko.
"Naloloka ako sa buhay mo pero keribells lang yan welcome ka naman dito sa bahay hanggang sa mag sawa ka sa magandang mukha ko" Valerie said making our heavy feeling light. Natawa naman ako sa sinabi niya and at the same time I felt that something good happened to me since yesterday.
"Thank you Val" I said whole heartedly na nginitian naman niya. She stood up infront of me and held my hand pulling me to stand up.
"Kumain nalang tayo jusme naloloka talaga ako" with that I let her pull me towards her kitchen.
That day she distracted me from doing different things like watching movies and talking about different things.
"shemay wafu ang papable look oh" she said pertaining to the leading man from the movie we are watching. I looked at the man and he's undeniably handsome.
After the last movie we watched ay napag pasiyahan na naming matulog. She let me slept in the vacant room of the house ngunit hindi ako dinadalaw ng antok, for unknown reason I felt bothered.
"Vix? gising ka pa?" I heard Valerie's voice against the door after she knocked. Agad naman akong umupo sa kama slightly fixing my messed up hair.
"Yeah, come in" saad ko. Valerie's immediately went inside and lit up the light giving brightness on the room. She sat on the bad and lift up her phone. She have this shocked look on her face making me confused.
"Your dad is on the social media my gosh" saad niya at agad na iniabot sa akin ang kaniyang phone showing me a two minutes video where my father is talking. I clicked the play button of the video.
"My daughter is missing since yesterday and I am looking for her" then he looked at the camera with a teary making her want to scoff with his acts "she's Vixen Morelli and here's her picture. If anyone can tell us where is she will be given a reward of 2 million pesos" my eyebrow raised with what he said, my father is really desperate to find me. I suddenly felt anxious with the thought of many people might saw me somewhere. I continued to watch the video until the end.
"Grabe yang tatay mo teh" Valerie said beside me as I handed the phone to her. She looked at me worriedly habang ako ay bahagyang natakot sa iniisip na parang umunti ang mga lugar na maari kong puntahan.
"Anong balak mo? Hindi naman sa pinapalayas kita pero hindi ka safe rito, madaling matunton tinitirhan ko and sooner or later baka dumating tatay mo dito" she said slowly trying not to offend me. She's right, it's not safe here and I also don't want her to be in danger ngunit wala na akong ibang mapupuntahan pa.
"Val wala na akong mapupuntahan pa" I said hopelessly "can I stay here even just for two days?" I begged her and hold her hand tightly. She stroked my hair before sighing deeply.
