3 days after I met that frail man, I notice a feeling in my gut. That feeling was intense hunger. It hurt so much. It hurt so, so much. I curled into a ball, holding onto my stomach. Not too long after I crumpled onto the hard marble floor, something popped out of the pedestal. Out of curiosity, I hurried over to the pedestal, hoping it was something that could fix my hunger. When I reached the pedestal, I saw that it was something round and red. I later learned it was an apple. I took the apple, and bit into it. The moment that I could taste it, I spit out in disgust. My stomach rumbled more and more, craving more and more for something to devour.

The men in coats were getting frantic. I could see it through that large mirror. After several failed attempts of trying to get me to eat, they sent in a human. It was a man in chains. I didn't think much of it back then, but I assume he may have been a prisoner. When they brought him in, the shut the door behind him. Upon seeing him, I started to drool. Soon, my slime began to grow grotesque spikes. The man in chains saw my body changing to something beastly, and so he banged on the door he entered from, begging to go back to the place he was in before. He was hopeless. After one final yell for help, begging to leave the room I was in, I tackled him to the ground. I mutilated his body, eating practically everything from his body. Organs, meat, flesh, even the bones. Soon, the spikes on my body sunk back into my body, and I began to behave normally again. When I finally came to my senses, I was horrified. Horrified that I gored a man alive.

After that incident, they kept sending more humans for me to feed upon. I ate so many that it became a new normal. I became numb to the fact that I mutilated humans on a daily basis. I wonder sometimes... What if I didn't need to eat humans. Where would I be today? What would have happened to me? That thought scares me... It scares me so much...
