It was 12th September 1991, in the castle of Hogwarts. Thousands of pupils gather in the main hall. New students clench up as walking to the sorting hat.
"Oh bloody hell, why does-" says Ron as he gets interrupted by hermoine.
"Oh stop it Ron it's not the serious now hurry up Dumbledore is about to speak!"
"Mental that one god!" Whispers Ron to Harry as Harry smirks.
"Good evening everyone to a brand new year at Hogwarts, we are happy to announce new students joining the Hogwarts community!"
"Oh my god! Look at the poor girl over there come on let's go talk to her-" hermoine says as she points at you.
You lift your head up and slightly smile as hermoine rushes towards you.
"Hi I'm hermoine what's your name"
"Oh, uh hi I'm y/n!"
"Pleasure to meet you y/n, so how do you like Hogwarts so far?"
"Well it's going pretty well but-"
You start to lose concentration as you notice a blonde haired by looking at you and smiling.
You blush.
"Oh, that's Draco Malfoy.. I'll stay away from him if I was you as he can get into a lot of trouble.." hermoine says as she tapped your shoulder.
"This, is the sorting hat which sorters which out you belong to, slytherin cunning and hard working"
"What house are you hoping for" Ron asked you as he eats a piece of chicken found on the floor
"Well.. my mother and father were in Ravenclaw so maybe there..." you say trying to seem confident.
