A ruby red valentine

It was Valentine's Day and the Tomlinson's household was at its normal state... Kind of except for the fact that little Ruby, daughter of both Louis and Harry, silently creeps down the stairs in hopes of not waking up her daddy's.
You see she wanted this day to be perfect because both her dads deserved it.

In hopes of doing so she silently crept into the pantry and dragged the plastic, vibrant green stool across the floor till it reached the tallest cupboard. Her little ruby red toes, that she wanted because they matched her name, that daddy H painted last night made their way onto the stool. She then reached up as high as she could to reach the cookies that were on the top. She knew they were up high so she couldn't get them and eat them but this was different, wasn't it? They weren't for her so it would be okay. Wouldn't it?

She finally caught her stubbly fingers onto the packet and then made her way to the fridge to grab 3 cartoons of milk, strawberry milk to be exact. Once she had them she settled on trying to find a tray to set them on. The only one in plain sight was her Disney princess diner tray but she thought it was beautiful, so grabbed it and carefully placed everything on it.

"One step, two step, three step, four" Ruby quietly whispered as she was stepping on the stairs, being only 5 it was pretty hard to do with a considerable amount of biscuits and milk on a tray.
She managed to get to the top and made her way to daddy H and papa's room. Placing the tray on the floor to open the door was a difficult task and a cookie ended up slipping, but she just stuck them back on the tray and crept inside.

Once inside Ruby placed the tray on the nightstand and leapt upon her dads to wake them up. Startled both men leapt awake and once noticing it was their little Ruby who made them have the fright of their lives, they tickled her till she fell clutching her sides and giggling that adorable giggle that makes her eyes shine.

Once the giggling died down Ruby picked off the tray from the nightstand and handed it to Papa.
The plate was scattered in cookies enough for around 10 people and the milk had spilled slightly on them so they were a bit soggy, but it was the thought that counted. So they all settled down with a few mushy cookies, some spilled milk each and a few shared kissed here and there. The day was great, perfect even and their family was complete, as mushy as that seems life couldn't be any more perfect.
