It was the last day until Christmas break. Two whole weeks off.!
I was hoping I would get to see Justice. Because the last time we broke up it was because we didn't get to see each other. And I wasn't ready to ruin everything with Justice again.
The weekend passed quite fast. And I didn't get to see Justice at all. But there was still two weeks to see him. And I was hoping I could.
It was now Monday. I texted Justice 'hey babe I have a way we can see each other!!!' 'How?' 'You can go to Lance's and I will stay and my grandmothers!!' 'Okay I'll ask my mom!!' 'Kay ill ask my dad' I texted back and said 'I can.. Can you?' 'Yeah' 'yayy!!!' It was like 3:00 in the morning so I said 'we'll I'm tired so I'm going to bed.. Night love you baby' 'night love you too babygirl'
The next day I went to my grandmothers and of course all 3 of my sisters and both of my brothers had to stay too. And Justice stayed with Lance and his little sister Marcie styled with Anney, Lance's sister. They are my age which is a good thing because now I have an excuse to go over to Lance's to see Justice. I asked my grandmother "mammi can I go to Anney's?'" "Sure honey just don't be out to long" "okay." And I left to go to Anney's. I texted Justice and said 'babe come outside.. I'm headed that way!' 'Okay.' Their house is only four houses down from Mammi's so I didn't have to walk far.
When I got there I saw Justice sitting in a chair on the patio with Lance. I walked up and gave him a hug and sat beside him in the same chair because Lance was sitting in the other one. We talked and talked and talked. Justice and Lance were talking and I blurted out "I'm freezing" and they just looked at me like I was stupid! But whatever I had on my varsity jacket that usually kept me warm but not today. And then I said "I'm going walking come of you want." And I got up, walked down the driveway to the road. Justice and Lance weren't far behind me either. Justice came up to me and grabbed my hand. It scared me but I have no idea why. I guess it was because we were in a bad town and anything could happen. I mean about two weeks ago a girl my age was abducted and rapped and was brought to the exact same place she was taken from... And that wasn't far from here. So yeah I got a little worried. But can you blame me? I think not!
We walked for about fifteen minutes and then Justice got a text from an unknown number. It said 'hey babe what you want to do tonight?' And he said 'who is this?' 'Chelie' 'do I know you?' 'Yeah we met at your girlfriend's birthday party and we started talking and then you asked me out and I said yes remember' 'that was over six months ago and I broke up with you!' And then he said to me because he know I was reading their conversation "babe I promise this was when I was dating Alexie and I broke up with her before we started dating. She hasn't talked to me since then. I promise you know I wouldn't do this to you" "it's okay I believe you" "okay" and he got another text saying 'no you didn't. Please don't I love you!' And he texted back 'I have a girlfriend and its not you. So leave me alone. I don't like you anymore. I love my girlfriend.' 'Who is this trick? Ima beat her ass' 'I'd like to se you try. I got her. You try to mess with her you'll have to get through me first!' When I read the message I immediately hugged him. And he hugged me back and said "I love you baby" "I love you too." Then I got a text from my Mammi saying 'its time to come eat.' And I said "we'll guys I gotsta go.." Then I yelled "I GET TO EAT!!" And then we all started running and I went and ate. I texted Justice the entire time.
*next day*
I woke up to the ringing of my phone. It was Lance's ringtone. I answered and before I could even say hello Lance started screaming "Kaeyleigh come outside now Justice got run over. He is kinda okay but he keeps saying 'Get Kaeyleigh. Get Kaeyleigh' so I called you!!" And I said "Ohh my godd I'll be down there in a second."
And I hung the phone up. I put my boots and my jacket on and ran outside. I ran down to Lance's and yelled "get him out of the road!!" And Lance dragged his body out of the road. When I got there I asked Justice "baby are you okay!?!?" And he replied "yeah now that you're here I am" I'm calling 911!" I picked up my phone an dialed 911 when thy picked up I told them what happened and told them where we were.
Before too long they were there talking him into the back of the ambulance truck. They asked me if I wanted to tag along and I just jumped in there with him. I grabbed his hand as said "it's gonna be okay baby" "okay" was all he could say. The man in the back with us said "this your boyfriend?" "Yes." "What happened to him?" "I have no idea. I was asleep and Lance, the other guy that was out there, called me and said he got run over ad wanted me. So I ran down to his house." "So who's house did this happen at?" "Lance's." "do you know anything that happened?" "No as soon as u got there I called you guys" while I was talking the man was writing things down.
