The door opens to reveal Clare, another ministry worker who worked under the contracts an immigrations department,
The brunette looks up. "Good morning Clare."
"Good morning Hermione."
"What brings you here today?"
"Well, I just happen to have some really good news from the minister today!"
"Ooh, what would that be?" Hermione grins brightly at the blonde, who sits in front of her.
The blonde grins at her. "We have good news for you.You'll be promoted to the head of the ministry soon! That is, under the minister.The youngest to be so yet.Congratulations!"
Hermione grinned as wide as she can and stood up. "What? Merlin.That is news!"
"Oh yes, and you deserve it Hermione.For all you've done for the department, and before in your school years for the wizarding world was truly astonishing.And so, the minister looks forward to meet you tomorrow.But..."
"But what?"
"You have one last contract and the Minister thinks you'd be perfect for it.He's assigning two people for this task.And this is completely aside from your work in the magical law enforcement and foreign cooperation department.It's just a final step to ensure that you can be completely professional and on for this post."
Hermione nods. "Well, I am up for it.Who do I have to work with though?"
Clare shakes her head. "That I don't know.The minister of magic has invited both of you to his headquarters tomorrow at nine in the morning.Should I tell him that you're up for it? He has told me to warn you though, that you'll work with whoever you're paired with.You'll be paired with a highly important personality of the wizarding world."
Without thinking twice or hearing the warning properly, Hermione replied, "Of course, this is completely professional, so I will be more than happy to work with anyone."
Clare than grins at Hermione, "Great! Love your enthusiasm on this.I'll go inform the minister about this and you can fill the formalities out later."
