the doctor walked up to george with pity in his eyes,
"what is it? is he okay?"
"...we did everything we could. i'm so sorry."
"NO! no...no! let me see him!!!"
george pushed past the doctor and burst through the doors, his eyes met the lifeless blonde laying in the hospital bed infront of him.
george ran over to clay, tears in his eyes and unable to properly speak.
"no.......come back to me....please.....clay come back to me!!! ITS NOT YOUR TIME YET, WE HAVENT GOT MARRIED. WE HAVENT HAD THE LITTLE GIRL WE WANTED, REMEMBER? WE WERE GOING TO CALL HER ALYSSA, Please..... clay.... p-please" his voice filled with sobs in between every word...
"george.....george.... GEORGE"
"huh? what? where am i?"
"on my couch you idiot...you okay your crying?"
"where's clay?"
"the hospital....you good?"
"WILBUR IS HE OKAY"
"jeez, he's fine... we're going to visit him now get dressed."
"he's alive?"
"yeah, why?"
"nothing....bad dream i guess."
wilbur walked away from the shaking boy and left him to get ready. george messily got dressed, he wore a hoodie and sweats. nothing special.
george was still shaken from the nightmare, he just wanted to be in his boys arms.
the boys arrived at the hospital but were stopped on the way to clays room,
"what are you guys doing here?"
"visiting...clay?"
wilbur looked so confused, the doctor that had stopped them had been so helpful through it all, why was he acting weird?
"it's his leaving day!"
george was nearly jumping up and down in excitement.
"but he already left?"
the mood dropped, they planned to pick him up. why did he go in his own? he's 100% not safe. this made george dizzy.
"oh okay thank you doctor." the pair walked away, "we need to go home, QUICK."
wilbur looked angrier than he ever has. clay hasn't gone home on his own. he wouldn't just make plans and change them?! something is wrong. very wrong.
