The mother watched as her 8 year old daughter ran around the house in her butterfly costume.

Such a delicate child

The mother thought.

The child had the most contagious laugh, she lightened up her mouths world. It was a love like no other.

This. This is what happiness feels like.

As the child grew as did her bubbly personality. Her laughter ever more contagious.

She grew beautifully, aging, she still brightened every room she walked in.

The child's mother grew older.

The child knew things don't last forever so death never scared her. She placed a kissed on her mother's head as she took her last breath.

The child smiled look at her mother's body. She's finally at peace now, she thought.

She got up from her place on the floor and cleaned up the mess.

Looking back, her mother should had never tried to send her away. The child wasn't sick, she was just different and they didn't understand.

Cleaning away the remainder of the poison, she turned to look at her mother.

"You brought this on yourself. You made me do this. Maybe in your next life you'll learn to love me forever."

She climb to the roof top and took in the view of the cities roof tops. Sighing, she took in the view one last time.

"I can fly!"

Then she jumped.
