Y/n POV:

When school finished, I went back home and just relaxed, today was draining and a lot happened that I didn't know how to react to, so I just got changed into something more comfortable, tied my hair up and lay down on my bed scrolling through Instagram while Rick and Morty played in the background, then I got a message from an unknown number:

Unknown:

Hey Y/n, it's me Madison I just wanted to say thank you for earlier today. You are the only one who has tried to understand me, and it means a lot, so thank you :)

Me:

Hey, don't thank me it's the least I could do after that kiss ;) joking. If you don't mind me asking, why did you kiss me?

Madison:

Well if I'm honest I have no idea, my brain just told me to do it and I did. I'm sorry it happened like that though I would have much rather taken you on a date first :(

Me:

Wait you don't regret it? The famous Madison Beer likes me. Wow now that's something to brag about

Madison:

Of course I don't regret it! And I never said I liked you... Yet. But would you want to go on a date with me?

Me:

Damn, very forward indeed but yes, I would love to :)

Madison:

Great! Well I'm free tonight if you want me to come pick you up?

Me:

Don't be silly, I'm picking you up. Ill be there at 7:30 is that enough time?

Madison:

Make it 7 and we can do something fun for this date since I'm guessing you like to be active after watching you play soccer.

Me:

Haha yeah, I like active dates, hmm how about we play laser tag?

Madison:

That sounds like fun, and I don't have to impress you with my looks either ;)

Me:

You don't need to try and impress me in the first place, its your mind that draws me into you not your body. Your looks are just a bonus :)

Madison:

That is the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me Y/n, thank you

Me:

Don't thank me for doing the bare minimum. Anyway its about 6 now so I wont take up anymore of your time. Ill see you at 7 :)

Madison:

See you at 7 :)

I finally put my phone down, wow we spoke for like an hour and a half I should get ready. I got up from my bed with a lot of effort because I was comfortable, and I walked to my bathroom to take a quick shower before getting ready for my date with Madison.

Madison's POV:

Y/n was going to be here any minute and I called my best friend Banana freaking out about it "Nana what am I going to do? She's going to be here like in 5 minutes, I cant do this-" "Madison yes you can! You said it yourself she's one of the good ones, she clearly wants you to be comfortable with her because she chose such a fun date. Stop freaking out and take a breath" I take a deep breath and sit down on my sofa "what if its an act?" I say looking down at my hands and picking at the skin around my nails, it's a habit whenever I'm nervous. "Then she is a really good fucking actress, no girl would ever say them things about you if she was acting. She's good for you Mads, I can tell" I nod finally calming down and then I hear a car door shut and a few moments later a light knock at my door "she's here, I've got to go" I say walking to the door "okay call me after and tell me how it went, I love youuu" I smile "I love you too" I hang up and open the door to Y/n holding a single white rose "hey, you look beautiful by the way" she says with a smile and I blush "I'm literally just wearing a hoodie and jeans" I giggle "and I like that look the most" I blush harder and glance at the rose "who's the rose for?" she rolls her eyes "you silly" she hands it me and I smell it "how did you know my favourite flower?" she shrugs "a magician never tells" she winks and I roll my eyes placing it inside and grabbing a jacket "ready?" she nods and holds out her hand for me, I look down at it and hesitate "you don't have to take it if you are uncomfortable" I shake my head and take her hand gently as she walks me to her car and opens the door for me.

Y/n POV:

We got to the laser tag place and I let Madison out of the car and kept her hand in mine as we walked inside, I looked around at all the lights "this is going to be cool" I giggle and she does to "yeah" we get to the desk and sign in before being taken to another room and handed a gun each and a jacket that had sensors on for when we got shot I looked down at my chest and it lit up blue, I glanced at Madison and hers was showing red making me smirk "I guess I cant protect you, sorry princess" I say jokingly and she glares playfully "oh just you wait."

We got into the arena and ran opposite ways until I say a glint of red shining off the reflection on the mirror and I smirked turning and going to aim my gun to who snuck up on me, but they were quicker and held the barrel of their gun to the sensor on my chest "look who needs protecting now princess" Madison mocked my voice and slowly backed me up against the wall behind me I dropped my gun to my hip and raised my hands slowly "are you surrendering to me Y/n/n?" I nod "please have mercy miss Beer" I say, and she giggles losing concentration so I hit her gun out of the way and aim mine to her chest turning and pinning her softly to the wall "now its your turn to surrender" she smirks "never" I laugh softly keeping my gaze on her eyes "god you are so gorgeous" she blushes yet it was hard to see under the low light "kiss me" she mumbles and I glance down at her lips before looking back to her eyes "are you sure?" she nods and I slowly lean into her pressing my lips to hers as she lets out a soft sigh, I control the kiss making it gentle and slow yet passionate and she lets out a whimper making me pull away "did I hurt you?" she shakes her head "I was enjoying it" I smile and kiss her cheek before pulling the trigger of my laser gun mischievously making her gasp "you are so dead!" "gotta catch me first" I say running off. We enjoyed the rest of the night together until I took her home, got one final kiss and then she asked me to be her girlfriend, to which I agreed.
