"are you seriously asking me this?" andrew asked, confused.
"yeah." you told him, tears bound to fall.
he scoffed, frustatation building up inside of him.
"her or me." you repeated.
"why are you making me choose?" he yelled.
"because it's very clear that you keep choosing her and i'm trying to decide if our relationship is even worth it anymore." you stated, sobs coming out in between your words.
andrew gripped his hair in frustration, closing his eyes as a headache was beginning to arise.
"y/n, you're literally overreacting. she's just a friend. you know i love you." he said, eyes shooting back up at you.
you, sitting on the bed, continued crying.
with your voice quieter, you said,
"but why is it always her? i haven't seen you in nearly a month because you've been hanging out with her nonstop. i let it go at first but it's become an everyday thing and i'm sick of it. every time we made plans, you cancelled it just to go see her,"
taking a deep breath, you continued.
"you're choosing her right now. if you chose me, you would have said it instantly. but you're hesitating and dodging the question. if you chose me, i wouldn't even be a choice. i'd be the only one."
your boyfriend sighed, closing his eyes and looking back at you after 15 seconds.
"she needs me, y/n. you know all of this already so i don't know why you're making it such a big deal."
you furrowed your eyebrows in disbelief.
"she needs you? for what? money? love? attention? why are you putting a friend who you just met over me, your girlfriend of 3 years? what does she need that is so goddamn important?" you asked, crossing your arms.
"it's between her and me so it's none of your business." andrew said, monotoned.
you rolled your eyes at his dumb excuse.
"just- stop being so fucking jealous. it's annoying." he said.
your eyes immediately shot up at andrew and a scoff came out.
"jealous? i have every right to be when you haven't been here with me this whole mon-" you were cut off as andrew grabbed his bags.
"i can't do this. i'm so sick and tired of your shit. you always make a big deal out of the smallest fucking things and i can't handle it anymore. she needs me right now and i cannot be sitting here wasting my time." he stated, walking to the door.
you followed him, pulling him back to look at you.
"you're wasting your time? all i ask is for you to stay with me for a day or two so we can talk about this. it's the bare minimum, andrew. but you keep constantly choosing her over our relationship so it's very clear to me who comes first to you." you stated.
andrew looked at you, eyes red from the frustration.
silence.
tears falling, you hesitantly told him,
"if you leave right now, out of that door, we're over. don't come running back."
andrew clenched his jawline, giving himself a few seconds to think before he walked out of the door.
you break down, closing your eyes as you knew that he was going to choose her.
it was always her.
