I opened the door and..

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Yamaguchi. Hanging from the ceiling. His bed a complete mess.

"Hinata, what happened?!" Tsukishima and Kiyoko ran towards him. When they looked in the room...

They screamed as well.

*DING DONG BING BONG*

A monitor in the hallway came on.

"A body has been discovered! After a certain amount of time, which you may use however you like, the class trial will begin!"

Tsukishima walked into the room and took Yamaguchi's body off the rope.

"Tadashi, wake up."

He held the body in his arms, shaking him and slapping his cheek.

"This isn't funny, Tadashi. Wake up. You can't be.."

"No amount of shaking and slapping him is going to wake him up," said Oikawa. I used my hand to cover his mouth.

"TADASHI! WAKE UP! YOU'RE JOKING RIGHT?! PLEASE WAKE UP, DON'T DO THIS!"

He fell to his knees and began the only emotional breakdown we've ever seen him have. He cried and cried for what seemed like forever. Letting go of the body, he stood, walked out of the room and down the hallway.

"Wait! Where are you going?"

He looked up at us, his eyes completely empty, his face red, a mess.

"To my room."

He opened his door and disappeared into his room.

"It looks like he's in no condition to help with the investigation," said Kageyama.

"Agreed," said Akaashi.

I walked into the room.

"Well, since the body discovery announcement went off, we can conclude this was in fact a murder," stated Kiyoko.

"Mhm."

Each one of us started looking around for clues.

"Hey! Shimizu! Shoyo! Check what I found!" Sugawara yelled. We walked towards him.

"Okay, so when I was checking his bed, there was a knife under his pillow! There's also a pillow without a matching case!"

"The pillow case doesn't match the rest..?" questioned Kiyoko.

"Not only that, I found an empty bag under the bed!"

He held up what looked like a gym bag. I opened my handbook to check the Monokuma file.

"The cause of death was suffocation."

"From the rope around his neck, I imagine," said Kiyoko, "hey, come to think of it, I was in Yamaguchi's room last night."

"Huh?!"
