It has been a couple of months since the Olympian meeting and since then, Thalia has been going back and forth between Avalon and the Hunters. Trying to bridge them together, but all for not. Right now, Artemis is looking up at the stars from a window in a room of King Artorigus's castle.
"Hello Lady Artemis," Artorigus said walking up to her after opening the room's door, before Artemis said, "King Artorigus."
"Why would a lady of your beauty be out on a night like this?" Artorigus asked the goddess of the Hunt. "And please, call me Percy."
"I was thinking of my oath," Artemis replied after a moment of silence. "Whenever I see my nieces and nephews, all I can think about are the children that I want... But I cannot because my father forced me into an oath that I did not want to take."
"What was he afraid of?" Artorigus asked the goddess.
"They would have the power to kill all monsters they lay their eyes on," Artemis said, her silver eyes shining like the moon above. "The Fates told me that any children I would have would gain the power of lunar cleansing."
"What's that?" Artorigus asked.
"They'd be able to cleanse the darkness of the earth with just a single glance," Artemis replied. "They would be able to make any immortal, even Primordials, fade."
"And when your father found out, he got paranoid and used his influence as king to force you into an oath of maidenhood," Percy said as the Moon Goddess nodded and said, "Yes."
The two fell into a comfortable silence, until Artemis said, "Why?"
"Why what?" Percy asked.
"Why do I feel... better, when I'm around you?" Artemis asked. "Why do I just want to..."
She was interrupted by Percy who pressed his lips against hers and Artemis wrapped her arms over his shoulders. They separated and Artemis said, "That..."
Percy then walked towards the door as he said, "I... uh... I should go."
"Wait," Artemis said, getting Avalon's chosen king to stop with his hand on the doorknob. "Please... Wait."
Percy turned around and asked, "Yes?"
"Why kiss me and then leave?" Artemis asked. "If you were going to leave, then why kiss me at all?"
Percy sighed and said, "Because I felt that you weren't going to accept my feelings so I..."
"Iloveyou," Artemis said quickly.
"What?" Percy asked, not understanding the goddess.
"I-I love you, Percy," Artemis said, not meeting the King of Camelot's eyes. "I fell for you not long after you saved me from the sky. And then when I heard that you and Annabeth broke up, I, along with Thalia, pushed the Hunters as hard as they could go and when I finally found you, it took almost all of my willpower not to jump on you and kiss you senseless." As she finished speaking, she gained a new shade of red on her face as she blushed.
"I love you as well, Artemis," Percy said as he and the moon goddess stepped closer to one another. "I started falling for you a few months ago, but now I know that what I feel for you, is true."
The two kissed again and when they separated, Artemis asked, "Stay with me?"
"Always," Percy said to her as he kissed her again and the two fell asleep in a loving embrace.
