It's Okay

Part 2

Wyatt pulled him closer having no clue what Koa was on about, Koa grabbing onto Wyatt's shirt at this point he was in hysterics he just wanted to get up and run he just wanted to run out of there as fast as he could, but his body wouldn't let him. He was frozen in fear and shock but at the same time he was embarrassed, Wyatt had never seen Koa like this it was weird. Koa hated himself for letting Wyatt see this side of him, Koa himself hated this side of him this isn't who Koa wanted to be. The guy who was at the counter took his hood down and walked out of the shop this is when Koa realised that it wasn't who he thought he was and felt even more embarrassed than before. He just sat in Wyatt's arms trying to calm down as Wyatt held him tightly playing with his hair to try and help Koa to calm down. "it's going to be okay Koa. I got you" Wyatt whispered to Koa, the cashier of the store noticed the two and walked over to them, she looked at Koa and then at Wyatt "is everything okay? Can I help?" she asked to hope that there was some way she could help the two out. Koa shook his head, no not wanting to get anyone else involved in the little mess that he caused she walked away sighing to herself softly. Koa calmed down enough to stand up and walk out of the store, Wyatt followed closely behind and spoke up "are you okay?" Koa nodded and responded with "I'm fine but I don't want to talk about it" he looked down at his feet while he walked to the car. Wyatt got in and waited for Koa who closely followed behind and got into the car they both put their seatbelts on, and Wyatt drove back to his house they got out of the car and both of them walked into the house, Koa sat down on the sofa and Wyatt sat across from him.

Wyatt looked at Koa and spoke, "We never spoke about why you're here, don't get me wrong I love you being here but it all of a sudden."

Koa – "So I don't think I ever told you but for the past few years I've been in the foster system and my last place where I was living was only temporary. So when they found the place I'm currently at they moved me as soon as they could"

Wyatt – "What's it like? Is the family nice?"

"I honestly have no idea how they are I don't really speak to them that much. I don't really want to" Koa spoke well shrugging his shoulders. It's not really the fact he didn't want to put the effort om so that he could talk to them it's more of the fact that he didn't want to get hurt again. He wanted to protect himself like he didn't protect himself last time, he was already risking everything by being friends with Wyatt. Koa just wanted to go through life alone because there is no way that he could possibly get hurt. There was no way he could let someone in and get ripped apart like he had done before. He just wanted to feel safe and for some reason, the feeling of safeness came from Wyatt.

Wyatt put his and onto Koa's and held it smiling softly looking at him for a second and then kissing his head standing up "I'm gonna go back to the store and buy some food. Why don't you stay the night and we can watch movies or something" Koa responded with a little smile on his face "yeah ill text my foster parents and let them know" Wyatt smiled and patted Koa's head "ill be back in 10 minutes if you need any comfy clothes go look in my wardrobe" Koa nodded and Wyatt walked out off the house heading to the store. Koa softly got up off the sofa and texted his foster parents letting them know that he was staying out for the night, they responded telling him that it's okay and he walked around Wyatt's house looking for his bedroom because Wyatt didn't tell him where it was Koa got to Wyatt's room and walked inside and over to the wardrobe. He opened the wardrobe doors and grabbed a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie, he then walked into the bathroom and changed into the clothes. Koa then walked back into the living room and sat back down and decided to go onto his phone until Wyatt came home. Wyatt walked back into the house and looked at Koa "I'm back" Wyatt spoke smiling, Koa looked up from his phone and smiled "Hiii" Koa spoke

Wyatt – "I'm gonna start cooking the noodles do you want to put a movie on"

Koa – "Yeah I'll put the movie on now"

Wyatt smiled and nodded as he softly walks into the kitchen and turned on the stove, Koa grabbed the TV remote and started to flick through the movies and decided to put the movie twilight on he had seen it before but he had kind of guessed that he wouldn't be paying attention to it. His gaze then went over to the kitchen where Wyatt was making the food, Koa got up and walked over wrapping his arms around Wyatt smiling a little. A smile grew widely onto Wyatt's face as he turned around so he was facing Koa and wrapped his arms around him "Are you okay Koa?" Koa nodded yes as a response and just cuddled into him a bit. Wyatt held him in his arms enjoying the moment, Koa let go of him and spoke "You should get back to cooking we don't want you burning your house down" Wyatt nodded and smiled, Koa walked back to the sofa and sat back down starting the movie. Wyatt finished cooking and walked over to Koa handing him his bowel off noodles and he sat down next to Koa and started watching the movie. They got to the part of the movie where Edward Cullen bounces the apple off his foot and Wyatt paused the movie and stood up

"I can do that," he said smiling "It's easy" Koa started to laugh because he already knew how bad this was going to turn out. Wyatt ran to the kitchen and came back into the living room and passes Koa the apple "Can you drop this for me please" Koa took the apple laughing a little "Uh yeah sure" Koa dropped the apple onto Wyatt's foot it bounced off Wyatt's foot and hit him straight in the head "Ouch" he said trying not to laugh at this point Koa was already dying off laughter. Koa tried to calm down his laughing but it didn't work and he spoke through laughter "Are you okay" at this point, Wyatt was also laughing at this own stupidity and responded with "yeah I'm fine" after a few minutes they had both calmed down and Koa let out a little yawn, Wyatt looked at him and spoke "You wanna head to bed" Koa nodded his head a little because he doesn't really talk that much when he's sleepy
