Athena's POV.
The headache from earlier returned quickly, so Sapphire and I are in a drug store trying to get me some aspirin along with some snacks and drinks for the road.
"Coke or Sprite?" Fire asks.
"Both." I say staring at the medicines.
"Alright-y." Fire says. Before literally dancing to the snacks, "Sweet, salty, or sour snacks?"
"All." I look at a certain bottle for headaches. "You recommend this?"
Fire looks at it closely, "Definitely."
I nod.
After paying for everything, we walk back to the car when my phone rings. "Shit." I mutter as I see that it says 'Mom' on it which really meant Mrs. Lain.
Third Person POV.
A Few Minutes Before
Back at the Lain house...
Mr. Lain was pacing back and forth thinking about Athena, and Mrs. Lain was on the couch crying.
That's when there was a loud, angered knock on the door.
Mr. Lain opens the door to see a man who is at least 5 feet taller than Mr. Lain who is 5'9. "Um... can I help you?" Mr. Lain asks confused.
"Yes, you can." Victor Creed tells Mr. Lain. "I'm looking for my daughter, Athena Creed."
Mr. Lain and Mrs. Lain, who just appeared in the room, look at Victor in fear and shock. "You... y-your Athena's father?!" Mrs. Lain asks.
"Yeah, I am, where is she?" Victor gets to the point. "I want to see my daughter."
Mr and Mrs. Lain hesitate.
"Well?! Where is she?" Victor starts to get impatient.
"She ran off." Mrs. Lain finally says.
"WHAT?!!" Victor asks outraged.
Athena's POV.
Present...
"Hello?" I ask irritatedly.
"Athena?" an unknown male voice says.
"Who is this?" I say confused.
"Athena, you may not believe this, but... I'm your real father." the man says. "My name is Victor Creed, I'm your father."
