Midnight looked fearfully at the two teens. Both were terrified and Thunder seemed sad. Abby was scared they would be killed. And honestly, so was Midnight. They couldn't fight back while tied up. Midnight thought of his wife and daughter and teared up. His daughter was still so young... Only a tween. As for Abby, she needed someone several years older, or bad things would happen to her at such a young age. Thunder whispered, "I miss my family and I don't even know if I'll see them again..."

Midnight nodded and whispered, "I have a wife and kid..."

Thunder looked away. He must've been thinking about how they would respond if Midnight died and they heard about it. Abby held back tears. She had no family left, except for her uncle from her father's side, but he was cruel to everyone- Including her. The other two though, had loving families who cared about them. And they were still alive. She looked around. She saw pain in their eyes. She wanted to wipe the pain out of their eyes and make them happy, but knew she couldn't due to the threat of death. The young car whispered a joke to try to get them to smile or laugh. Midnight looked at her with a smile that seemed to say "Thanks for trying". Thunder just looked down, tears in his now-dull yellow eyes.

"I'm only 17 and this happens..."

Midnight made an attempt to hug Thunder, but couldn't with his tires tied.
