O n e:

"The old warehouse..." I whispered. He wrapped his arms around me.

"Are you okay?"

"Do you happen to have a red bandana?" I asked. He nodded and went to get it. I know I'm a lot younger for this this than normal.

Nash returned with the bandana and I tied it around my curls. I had done winged liner and put on red lipstick. I left my hair down and changed into a black crop top as well as a bulletproof vest and dark jeans. I had my belt of things concealed by a red plaid shirt. My combat boots covering my feet. Yes I did all of that in that short amount of time.

"Woah. You do not look sixteen." Nash breathed. I laughed.

"Exactly." I said, using my older sounding voice. He looked shocked. Jacob walked in.

"Hey if anybody has any experience with fighting tell them to come along. And hurry if you want to make it in time." I said.

***

At this point I'm sitting in the car trying not to snap their heads off. Everyone came. I'm surrounded by idiots. I rolled my eyes and looked out the window to see that we were no longer moving. I jumped across Nash and pushed the door open and walked up to the warehouse door. I kicked it in and continued.

"Well Well Well, didn't think you would be able to make it." The voice that I dreaded said.

"So I'm here. Now where. Is. HAYES!" I screamed. Before I could react I saw him pull a gun and felt an impact on my chest before flying backwards. Ouch.

I could hear Hayes's muffled sobs. They gagged him. He came to inspect my "dead" body.

"Wow... She wasn't very fun." He said. I jumped up and knocked his gun out of his hand and pinned him on the ground in one swift motion.

"I'll bet you'll change that opinion." I stated, through gritted teeth.

"So she lives." He muttered, flipping me over. I groaned at him digging his knee into my ribs.

"I would've at least thought that you would be nicer since I'm your leader." I said, flipping us back over and putting my knees on his arms. I pulled my knives out of my belt and dug them into his hands. He let out an ear piercing scream.

"That'll make you stay put." I said. I got up to untie Hayes. I took another knife and cut him loose. He pulled his gag down and engulfed me into a hug, his tears staining my shirt.

"I th-thought I lost you." He said, pulling me tighter.

"Well it's not over yet." He said, walking towards me with bloody hands.

"Hayes get back. Go with Nash stay behind him." I said. The man had retrieved his gun and put it on Hayes. I walked in front of him until I saw that he was behind Nash. I ducked, sensing a punch.

"Dang, still got it in you Jo."

"Wish I could say the same about you Jay." I answered.

"You know what? The gang kinda fell apart without you. No one was ever there to keep things under control. Everyone was fighting for control."

"And this is supposed to effect me how? The reason I left is because I don't care anymore." I said, kicking his legs out from under him and jumping, knowing his move. He swung the butt of the gun at me and I kicked it away. Nash stepped out and grabbed it. He pointed it at Jay. Jay got up and caught me off guard, getting me in a headlock.

"C'mon buddy boy! Shoot me! I'm sure you've never picked up a gun before and you think you have enough confidence to shoot me without hitting your little crush?"

"Do it Nash." I croaked as Jay tightened his arm. Nash did it and I felt a surge of pain in my arm as I heard the second shot being fired. Hayes was screaming and clawing. I couldn't feel anything but pain in my arm. I felt Jay loosen up and I kicked his knees in and threw him down. The cops then came in and Nash threw the gun down.

"B-Before you say anything Self Defense." I said, breathless. I fell down. Hayes and Nash ran to me.

---

We were in the hospital, signing me out. Jay is already signed out and locked up. I don't know how but I'm sure Hayes told the judge or whatever.

"So tell me about this 'gang' deal." Nash said.

"Well... When I was 11, I used to go with my brother everywhere. Drug deals, beatings, watched people get killed, and gang wars. I grew up doing drug deals, and beatings. I organized a lot of this. I arranged street fights. I was the youngest person ever to be in a gang. Well it kept up until I witnessed a torturing of my best friend. Jay went and was asking for the money for the drugs and if they didn't pay I watched them get shot. Well two years ago there was a girl that was my age and they went for her since she didn't pay. I jumped in and took the bullet for her. They immediately rushed me to the hospital. They left her. Since I did that, everyone got my guy best friend Jake and they tortured him...
In front of me...
To get me back...
Until he was dead... And since then I haven't had contact with anyone from the gang except for now. When your little brother is in danger. I'm so sorry. I didn't know or I would've done something about it." I said, touching Nash's arm. He nodded.

"It was really cool what you did in there." Hayes chimed in.

"Not really... Don't you ever think about doing that YA hear?" I said, sternly. He nodded fast.

"Let's get home." Nash said, unlocking the car.
