I watch the clouds as they go by, and I wonder what is going to happen next? I have cancer. There is not much I can do. Just sit back with an oxygen tank wondering. That's all I can do, but if you think this is going to be a story about cancer and conquering it, you're wrong. This is a story about me, and my chance to play the sport that I favour most.
So now shall we get to the story? My name is Samantha, but everybody calls me Sam. I am thirteen years old. I am in high school, grade eight, and my favourite colour is purple. Now you know a little bit about me. This story begins when I was first diagnosed with cancer. Ps. the cancer I have is lung cancer. I was five when they spotted the cancer. The doctors said that I would only live for about three more years, but I have lasted this long. My parents, brother, family, and my best friend were all scared. I was also scared. When I was six the cancer had spread to both of my lungs. They didn't know if I would die right then. Just before the surgery, parents told me that I could go if I wanted too, but after all of the surgeries I finally awoke. It's been a struggle ever since.
