Happy Birthday, Rita (March 1)

Rufus: "So, uhh... is this fine with you?"

Rufus asked as he slanted his head and darted a look at the effortlessly graceful maiden walking by his side.

Rita: "You have asked the same question for three times, Rufus-sama. Dwelling on the same topic is not a good way to impress girls."

Rufus: "Looks like my nagging made you upset."

Rita: "I'm just speaking from a lady's experience."

The maiden spoke tactfully as ever, but Rufus noticed that there's something joyous about her brisk steps. The days they have spent together may have awoken something in him to her unspoken words and concealed feelings.

Rufus: "I'm just saying... it's your birthday and all. I mean, you could have asked for something more special, right?"

Rita: "No, this works perfectly fine for me. Or maybe, this date is making Rufus-sama feel like a fish in a water?"

Rufus: "No no no, it's not like that. It's just..."

Rufus looked around and found that the park was full of lovebirds kissing and hugging. Just your typical weekend.

A couple walked by hand in hand, chatting and laughing. Perhaps he felt the Captain's peek, the guy returned a look of caution and alert, but his eyes softened at the sight of Rita. As both men's shoulders brushed, he nodded and smiled knowingly. Heck, he even gave Rufus a thumbs up.

Rufus: (muttering) "Flock off, feather-face! It's not what you think it is!"

Rita: "There is nothing I can do to put an end to this massive misunderstanding."

And much to his surprise, Rita seemed to enjoy it quietly.

Rufus: "Well, looks like we blended in quite well. Walking alone in this place would definitely raise suspicion."

"Retrieve a vital information from an asset."

It was a mission from Overseer originally given to Rita to be accomplished by her own. But since it was given to her exactly on her birthday, Rita decided to bring Rufus with her.
