Adrian grabbed his leather duffel bag and headed to the lady, to scan his ticket. She quickly scanned it and hurried him on to the boarding area of the plane. Adrian rejected any help from anyone with his luggage, as it was very heavy.
Adrian was always late, but he was always on time at the same time. He would leave late from his apartment building, but by some luck he would make it to wherever he was going before he needed to actually be there. It was very fortunate he made it that day, because the flight he had to take today would only fly out once again that year. Or ever again after that.
Actually that very year the town was being taken of the map. All maps. People had started moving out of Barwik, Georgia to flee to other near by towns. The town local museum was soon to be closed, so people believed that they should go. The only reason people stayed was because of the history. No one spoke of it, but it was there. It was a new, unspoken, mystery.

Ryland! the lady called out to her faithful assistant. Fetch me my journal, it seems we have company and I'm sure Ms. Westenelra would love to hear about this!

The boy, Ryland, scuttled over to the dusty desk in the middle of the room. They were in the history museum in Barwik. No one knew though. No one could even see them. Except the other Shadows, of course.

Her you go, my lady. Since you have last written in it Ms. Westenrela has taken your words.

Wonderful. You may leave now. and with a flick of her hand he was off. She saw the last of his foot disappear, then she opened her note book to the first empty page. Which was, as expected, blank.

He is coming. Someone finally wants to learn the mystery behind me. Me, the unspoken truth of the very existence of this ransack of a town. He is looking for a case. Something to put in a news paper. I'm not sure how he's going to find it though. I think we should grant him Vision. It's the only way. He could help me figure out who did this to me. Not that I don'y mind it here. It just gets a little lonely. Not many Shadows come through here. Though, I do sense the presence of Past, every once in a while.

Kaelie sighed. What is she finally found out the truth. She knew Annalise would never grant some Median Vision. If only.
