I sat peacefully alone, quietly watching the sun peek over the horizon. The silence was interrupted by my sister's loud voice ringing in my head. Sighing I got up and started to walk home, my sister standing at the door with her arms crossed. "Where were you?? You know we have to get Spencer's party ready, or we will get in so much trouble!!" She sighed, "come on, I have the cake cooling and the decorations are out, all we have to do is; set the table up, frost and decorate the cake, plus decorate the outside and living room, it won't take long!!" Rolling my eyes, I grab a bunch of decorations and head outside. Two hours later, and we have everything set up guests are arriving and Spencer is still in his room. I look over at my sister to see her serving drinks to the guests and opening the door to greet them. I sigh, knowing I have to go get Spencer. Walking up the polished oak stairs and down the hall I stop at his room, knocking twice on the door, I wait.

"What do you want?" Spencer said flinging the door open, I couldn't think of anything to say as a scent of chocolate and rainwater hit my nose, one thing kept racing through my mind, yet I couldn't catch what it was. I looked up at Spencer's face and heard him mumble "mate" and something else. My eyes widened, h-he was my mate!?! Realizing this I blushed at the sight of his bare chest, water droplets sliding tantalisingly down his well formed abs. Trailing my gaze up I reached his lips, they looked like they were soft, I catch myself wishing I could kiss those lips. I forced myself out of my trance. "The guests have arrived, Alpha. We were wondering when you'd come down?" Spencer raised his eyebrow, his expression basically screaming, 'really, is that all?' He paused for a moment, looking me in the eyes.

I lowered my eyes, subconsciously submitting to him. "You're an omega, right? How come you have such low ranking?" His deep voice rumbling in disapproval. "Y-yes sir, I am an omega, I was made omega when I did not shift at sixteen years old." I glanced up at his face, his expression was cold and hard to read. I was nervous, although it was looked down upon to reject your mate, and not many did, it was still not unheard of. "I'll be out in four minutes," his cold voice rang out, breaking my thoughts. I sighed and turned to walk away to inform my sister. "Oh, what's your name again, little omega?" Spencer asked, taking a step forward with his arms crossed. "Ah, m-my name is Sakura Evergreen, sir." His eyes fogged over, a sign he was probably talking to his wolf, a deep growl erupted from him and his eyes turned to normal. "I, Spencer Night, Alpha of the Dark Night Pack, reject you, Sakura Evergreen Omega of the Dark Night Pack."

Pain, that's all I felt when he said those words, I knew it would get worse before killing me if I did not accept the rejection. "I-I Sakura E-Evergreen Omega of Dark Night P-Pack accept your rejection, S-Spencer Night Alpha of the D-Dark Night Pack" I said struggling through the pain. After I said it I cried out in relief as the pain started to subside, although I knew it would come back in a few days when the mate bond actually broke. Spencer's bright green eyes turned dark after I said the exception, "Sukura, I am so, so sorry, I did not want him to reject you, I tried to fight him, but I lost. I am so sorry." Spencer's wolf, Axel said his eyes welling up with tears. "It's ok, I forgive you, plus I trust that you have something in store for him?" I said to him, smiling slightly.
"Yes, I do, if you could stay for the party and leave after that would be great. It'll be a night to remember." He said, winking. I nodded once and walked back down stairs to help my sister serve refreshments, curious to see what Axel had in store for Spencer.
