may-june 2020

Lazily, almost powerlessly, you open your eyes, once again indignant, saying that you should have gone to bed at least until 1 am, and not talk to them until seven in the morning.

Winning a victory over yourself, you crawl out of bed to get to the kitchen, which has long been full of life: aunt sips her fragrant coffee, brother with grandpa argue childishly about how to pronounce this English word correctly. Cursing the sun's rays, you rush to prepare your only salvation - coffee.

You are sitting with a large mug of awakening drink, slowly checking a bunch of new notifications that have appeared during those two or three hours of your stay in the land of dreams. However, when you see a message from a certain person, you discard everything else for later. And that's right: a conversation with your person is much more important than thousands of new views on the last edit, because they don't cost anything. But the kindest messages should also be answered as soon as possible, because it is incredibly motivating and pleasing when someone really likes your work, when someone wants you to be happy just to do it, and not for some benefit.

And here you are communicating with, back then, your closest person, smiling. The sun no longer seems so annoying, because it reminds you of your favorite people, of the beginning of a new day with things that make you happy. Here it is. You're happy.

Spending hours procrastinating, you and your family go for a little walk around closest areas. You argue with brother about who's gonna drive a bisycle and who takes the skate. Finally fulling your lungs with a long-awaited fresh air, you start speeding up while listeting to something like "Say Love - James TW" or "Eyes off you - PRETTYMUCH". Those songs help you romantize the ride and just the whole living. Drivng here and there you keep daydreaming, holding yourself back from going back to your phone. They can wait till you are home again.

After returning from a walk, you dive back into that favorite worn-out t-shirt and go to wash your hands: the coronavirus is the same. The sky has already darkened: beautiful iridescences of red and purple gradually subside, leaving in a darker, sometimes frightening, black shade.

You snuggle into the corner of the bed, feeling the pressure of being in such a crowded house. A slight irritation makes itself felt, because the brother again very much emotionally comments on his game on the mobile phone.

This is the time of the evening TV show or anime viewing session. Having arranged everything as it should, you sit down in front of the screen of an old laptop that stores important memories in itself and then you turn on that long but dearly loved show "Hunter x Hunter".

After a lot of laughing, uwuing, crying and whatever feelings could you have after wathcing it, you are left alone and now are making your bed, knowing that you won't be sleeping soon anyway.

A garland and a lava lamp create absolute comfort, and two pillows, diluted with toys, are patiently waiting for you. The light from the TV in grandpa's room doesn't give you a sense of privacy.

3:00am. It's getting light, and you still haven't learned how to prioritize, and you continue to recklessly spend hours of sleep communicating with the same, already too close loved, person who unsuccessfully tries to get you to go to bed, because lack of sleep is harmful to your health, however keeps being disturbed by some weird yet fun topic you brought to distract her from getting you to sleep. It's nice that someone really cares about your condition.

Soft music in the headphones and a small but real smile on your face. It seems like you should go to bed, but you don't want to interrupt the magical feeling of calmness and happiness, which only comes at time like this. Finally wishing her sweet dreams, you close your eyes hugging a big pillow tightly, finally falling asleep.

Tomorrow's going to be the same yet different. However, still beautifull and happy.
