Chapter 5

Y/N POV

"If i was Norman, were would I hide...." I muttered under my breath as I look around the forest. I some now ended up at the fence that mom always tells us to stay away from. I stare down at it lost in thought until I hear a males voice say. "Guess you got me" I looked up and to my left and saw Emma and Norman.

"I didn't even see you guys there.." I say sheepishly rubbing the back of my neck as I walk closer to the two

" 'Never go near the gate nor the fence because it is dangerous' that is what mom always tells us right?" Emma says looking from Norman to me and then the fence. She takes a step closer reaching out to the fence as if to see if it would harm her

" She's full of it if you ask me" A males voice comes from behind you. Ray. I jumped a bit from his sudden appearance 

"Why do you say that?" Norman asks as he looks from the fence to Ray. Emma was startled by Ray and backed away from the fence.

"I mean look at the thing. It's so low and I don't see any danger from here do you?" Ray says with a blank face as he looks past the fence

"But we should listen to mom-" Emma says but was interrupted

"You love mom a lot don't you Emma" Ray says looking over at the girl

"Yeah, I mean every-" Once again cut off, poor Emma

"Hey! Are you guys even still playing anymore!" Don says as he come out from behind some bushes

"Oh is the game over already?" Gilda says as she come out from behind one of the trees as some of the other kids come out from different places all gathering around

"Where did you guys even come from...?" Y/N says as she looks at everyone

"Hey guys we should be getting back, mom is going to get worried if we don't" Norman says as he starts making his way back home

"We will have to leave this place one day huh?" Don says as he stares out past the fence.

"I mean, yeah, we all leave when we turn 12 no matter what so yeah" Nat says

"You know what? We haven't gotten any letters from the other kids" Gilda adds in

" Letters?" Emma questions as she tilts her head at the olive haired girl

"Maybe they are just being considerate to there new family" Norman explains

"Maybe they forgot about us?" Y/N asks looking at everyone with a little shrug as to say that she was not so sure about her question

"Come on! we have been together sense birth! We maybe not be siblings but we truer siblings then most!" Don argues back 

"I wanna go to the outside world too!" Gilda wince as she flaps her arms up and down with a pout on her face

"And what would you do when you get outside huh?" Nat asks with a small smirk on his face looking at Glida

"Get new clothes duh!" 

"Oh god, not this again" Don says rubbing his temples 

"I mean come on! all we wear is this all white uniform! I heard that the outside world as many colors and I wanna try them all!" Gilda says with a determined look on her face

"I am sure you will Gilda" I say with a smile on my face from her excitement

"I wanna eat all the different kinds of foods!"

"I wanna date a cute girl!" Don says proudly

"You do know that is an insult right?" Gilda says with her hand on her hip glaring at the brown haired boy

"Ah! i didn't mean it like that!" Don defends himself

I let out a small giggle at the two

"I wanna see a train!" Phil says with a cute smile on his face as he walks up to me and holds his hands up. I pick him up and place him on my right hip. I boop his nose and tell him, "That's a good one"

"What about you Norman?" Emma asks him

"I wanna go and visit many different places" He says with a big smile on his face as he stretches his arms wide

"What about you Y/N? Still wanna marry Norman?" Ray asks with a smirk on his face as she stands beside you now

"Shut it emo! But to answer your question, yeah! if he was ok with it of course! But I also want to see the different types of animals!" I say with a closed eyed smile and a light blush on my cheeks from being called out by Ray

"Oh yeah! We still need to have your wedding! We are older now so it works out!" Emma says looking at Norman then at my self with a big grin

Norman blushes as he tries to hid it with the back of his hand. I blush bright red "Shush it Emma!" 

Everyone just laughs at you guys 

"what about you Ray?" Don ask

"Hmmm, I would need to learn how to survive first" He says blankly

' what a weird thing to say' I thought to me self

"Ugh! Such a downer!" Don complains

"W-what about you Ems? Still wanna ride a giraffe?" I say trying to change the topic

"I said that?" She says sheepishly rubbing the back of her neck "Well I don't ever wanna leave! I wanna stay here forever!" Emma replied with a smile on her face

"That's a little unfair don't you think?" Someone asks

"I mean we are all happy here right? Why not keep it that way!" She says with the same smile on her face never leaving her face

"...Happy..right.." Ray mutters under his breath as if he didn't want anyone to hear him but I did. I was going to ask what he meant but was cut off when Connie (I believe I am spelling her name wrong...) started talking

"I want to me a mom just like mama! And I will never think about abandoning my children! I also promise to wright to all of you! I won't forget you! You all mean so much to me!" Connie says with a closed eyed smile while she was hugging her stuffed bunny

"You love mom a lot don't you Connie" Emma says bending down to Connie height, she pats the blonde girl on the head as she smiles and hums a yes. 

RIIING

"Looks like we have to be getting back now" Don says as he looks in the direction of were he heard the ringing of mamas bell

"Last one there is a rotten egg!" Y/N yells as she races back to the house with everyone running after her and yelling that she cheated and got a head start. Y/N just laughed and kept on running.
