Chapter 2

When we entered the gym, we saw many alphas and beta boys goofing off. I made eye contact with the alpha group from before who glared at me again. I looked down instinctively whimpering. My mates were quick to notice as I heard Chan speak, "Jeongin and Seungmin go help him get ready for gym class. The rest of us have something to deal with." He growled at the end. Jeongin and Seungmin quickly grabbed my hands and we walked off towards the locker room. They dragged me over to their lockers and pulled out their clothes. "Did you get your Gym clothes and locker yet y/n?" I shook my head no. "Well we have a locker picked out for you already and you can borrow our spare clothes." Seungmin said. I nodded and Jeongin handed me his spare shirt while Seungmin handed me his shorts. I smiled at them giggling, "What?" they asked at the same time. "You guys have been scenting me ever since we met, I'm pretty sure I will walk out in these and get attacked by the others so they can scent me." The boys smiled. "Well we will be scenting you for a while. Until you're comfortable to mark us and we mark you." I smiled and went to get changed in the bathroom stall.

That was another thing about mates. Two of the same rank species can't mark each other, You have to be different ranks. Once you mark your mate you will gain a scent that tells other alphas, betas or Omegas to back off. So for alphas who have yet to mark their lower rank mate, it is instinct for them to scent their mates. To keep other Alphas or Betas from messing with their mate, in any unwanted way. I exited the stall and walked over to the boys who were waiting for me. I opened the locker they had ready for me, I put my other clothes in the locker before shutting it. The boys grabbed my hands as we walked out again. This time we walked out to see Chan and the leader of the other group on the ground fighting. Chan's Alaskan Black wolf ears and tail were out, his canines and nails were sharper. The other boy was very muscular and had his ears and tail out, he must be a Timber wolf. Both boys fought on the ground as the teacher tried to pull them apart, but a mear lynx could not pull apart the wolves. I quickly ran up and yelled at Chan to stop, He immediately stopped looking at me surprised. I saw the other boy going to scratch his face so I quickly jumped in front and got scratched deep along my shoulder. The Alpha must have been seeing red as he got two more scratches deep on my chest, before he realised I wasn't Chan and jumped off of me.

I felt my eyes water up as silent tears fell from my eyes. Suddenly the teacher was in my face speaking. "Hey buddy we are gonna have you transported to the nurses office! She is a professional doctor and will be able to treat you dont worry bud!" I nodded as The teacher looked up. "His mates are to take him to the nurse and you will be exempted from this class. If it is worse than we think the nurse will make the call on the rest of the day." I heard agreement as Many footsteps came towards me quickly. I looked at Chan immediately checking to make sure he wasn't in any pain. "Ch-channie are you o-okay" I choked out in pain. Chan quickly came down and caressed my face. "You need to worry about yourself right now baby boy. Here let me pick you up and we will get you to the nurse." Chan slowly and carefully put an arm under my neck and my knees, as he picked me up bridal style.

He walked with me in his arms as the boys were quick to follow us. Every now and then I would whimper in pain as Chan walked, causing him to stop and check on me along with the other boys. "Chan I'm fine! The qu-quicker we get to the n-nurse the sooner I w-will heal." I spoke groaning in pain. He nodded and picked up his pace to the nurse. Once we arrived he laid me down on the bed and the other boys went looking for the nurse. As I laid there I saw Chan sit on the bed next to me playing with my hand. "I'm sorry I couldn't protect you baby boy." he said sadly. I chuckled and he looked at me. "Chan don't worry about me, I have been through worse than this before. I still care about you no matter what, even though I may care thanks to Omega instincts eventually that care may become love for you. As long as you're not lying about the whole mate thing. I don't want to go through another heartache lik--" I was cut off by Chan who spoke loudly. "I would never lie to anyone! You are my little omega mate... but most importantly....WHO HURT YOU?!" I flinched when he yelled. He quickly calmed down and hugged me lightly so as to not hit my wounds. "I'm sorry for yelling baby, I just got so attached to you already I felt so much anger knowing someone hurt you like that." I smiled at him and pulled him down lower to kiss his cheek. I blushed as he smiled at me.

Suddenly the nurse came running in with the other boys on her tail. Chan quickly stepped out of the way as she moved my shirt around to check the wounds. "OKay obviously you are a bunny since your ears and tail have come out right now... probably due to the pain." She quickly had me take off the shirt to see my wounds better. "Okay since you are an Omega and you're a rare species of bunny... your wounds are gonna heal slower than a normal alpha or beta." She grabbed some ointment and bandages. "This is gonna sting a little but it was made specifically to help quicken the healing process for Omega's, Don't worry even though I may have never had to use it before since the Omega population dropped, I still know how to do this correctly." She smiled at me and began dressing the wounds in ointment. It was pretty painful and I grabbed the hand closest to me unconsciously. That person just happened to be Felix, he was quick to sit beside me rubbing my back and holding my hand to comfort me. The nurse finished the dressing and had the boys hold some gauze pads against the wounds as she ran some cohesive gauze wrap around my torso and over my shoulder to hold the gauze in place. Once it was done she wrote something down on a paper before handing it to me. "The latest your wound would be healed is tomorrow morning, he is a note for your teacher to know why you are late and one for your parents to know what happened." She looked at the boys then me. "Are any of your mates in your last two classes? We can't keep alphas from a wounded lower rank mate, it's instinctive for them to overload their bodies and possibly go berserk if they aren 't able to see to your safety. I looked at the boys before giving them my schedule.

"He has music class with the hyungs and Art class with the maknaes." Hyunjin said. The nurse nodded. "Okay that gives an hour to half of you guys each then. After school you can all meet up and go home with each other since you are fairly new mates given the fact that your little omega does quite smell like he has been scented that much." The nurse giggled and walked out. Jisung and Minho helped me stand back up as we walked out to go to our next class. "We will come pick you up from class and take you to our apartment. Then we can have a real conversation and get to know each other better." Hyunjin said. I nodded "I will let my parents know that then!" I smiled at them all. Once we got to class the maknaes each gave me a peck on the forehead before bidding me goodbye as they ran off to class.
