Three months had passed since Yoonhe's girlfriend Sueyoung had gone missing. He called the police station almost every day but every conversation ended with increased disappointment and frustration. In the wake of the incompetence of the law he made the decision to investigate her fate for himself. But everytime he cleared his head and tried thinking about the events leading up to her disappearance from a new angle, he always came back to him.

Sangwoo.

They all attended the same university and in the weeks before he last saw Sueyoung, she had been spending more and more time with him. She told Yoonhe that they had to exchange notes or work on a project together and he always believed her. But as he considered the possibilities his suspicion grew greater and greater. He was sure Sangwoo had an ulterior motive. Obviously it was circumstantial and the police would never follow up, so it was a good thing he wasn't an officer. If he was, it would have been even more illegal when he broke into Sangwoo's house.

...

Avriel opened her eyes to see Sangwoo sitting in a familiar spot. The cold chains around her wrists were familiar too, as was the hard floor she laid on. They were in Sangwoo's cellar. There was just one thing out of place... the man standing between them.

"Oh she's awake," he said. "Sorry about this. I didn't know you were coming here. I only came for Sangwoo. I knew this bastard had something to do with SueYoung's disappearance. She was my girlfriend, but despite that he kept flirting with her. And then he... did something to her! I don't know what exactly but I'm sure it was him. She didn't know many people but the way he was getting so close to her suddenly was really suspicious to me. She's a nice girl, too naive to know what he was up to. The stuff I used to tie you guys up, I found right here in this room! It's his! You have the right to know who this guy really is!" He shouted hysterically in her face.

"Please... these chains are hurting. Could you take them off?" She asked quietly and pathetically.

"I'm sorry. I don't want to take that risk. But I promise I'll take them off later. Ok?"

"No. Not ok." She replied in her normal tone.

"Hu?"

"I said to fucking take them off!"

He looked at her, stunned. Then his eyes narrowed at her. "Who are you?"

"Who are you?"

"I'm Yoonhe. So what's your name?"

"Does that really matter to you?" she said with a sharp attitude.

"Yes! You knew the code to get in, so you two must be close. But I was watching him for weeks, and it never looked like he had a girlfriend."

"I'm not his girlfriend. I'm just his bitch," she confirmed with a shameless raise of her eyebrows, as if it was something he should have known.

"So... do you know about Sueyoung? Do you know what he did?!"

"Yeah."

After a few moments of anticipation he said, "Well?! What happened?"

"She's dead."

His face contorted into ugly folds as the news crushed him. With his hands on his head he shouted at the floor. Then he turned on Sangwoo and took a fraction of his rage out on his face. He landed several hits before his sight turned completely red. Then he turned on Avriel.

"You knew this whole time and you didn't tell anyone!? What's wrong with you?! Both of you are sick! I should kill you!" He pointed his gun at her head. "That's an eye for an eye."
