Savannah's POV
I was tossing a basketball back and fourth with Eric up in his room out of boredom, but when that familiar beep sounded I screamed as the basketball cam hurling towards my face.
I managed to dodge out of the way in time while Eric burst out of his room and I sighed.
He's been like this ever since he met Desiree, now this girl was s different kind of evil.
At first I respected the idea of having a boy wrapped around your fingers, but once she got her hold on Eric, I haven't been able to hang out with him as much.
Cause whenever that stupid pager beeped, he bolted.
We went to the movies a few days ago, he got up and knocked over everyones popcorn, we are also no longer allowed at that movie theatre.
I made my out of his room and down the hall, I heard shouting and grunts coming from the Matthews downstairs kitchen.
Once I turned the corner I saw Eric wrestling with Mrs Matthews to leave but she wouldn't let him.
Yeah, I'm not the only one who's had to put up with him acting like this.
"No. I don't care what errand Desiree is sending you on. You are gonna sit down and eat some breakfast."She demands before pushing him back.
"You'd like that if she never got her shampoo. Wouldn't you, mom? Wouldn't you?" Eric said as he bounced on his feet and almost got a hand on the door knob but Mrs Matthews grabbed onto his arm then spun the two of them around so that he was back in his original position.
"What kind of control does this girl have over you?"
"This girl does not control me, I control her." Eric corrected and I snorted loudly.
Yeah right! He's so full of it.
"Oh, she needs conditioner."
Eric acted like he was going to try and run on Mrs Matthews left side, tricking her, but he did a quick three sixty and ran past her right side, escaping successfully.
She sighed before looking over at me, I was still standing on the staircase.
"Thank you so much for your help."
"Hey I gave up on him a long time ago." I tell her with a shrug of my shoulders.
She opened her mouth to reply but stopped when the back door swung open and Eric ran back in.
"What are you just standing around for, Mouse? We have first hand engagements to take care of!"
I crossed my arms over my chest and glared at him after he yelled at me, he chuckled nervously before slowly backing away.
