This one is for that one person who doesn't exist in my life anymore. Maybe it's for the good.

Or is it?

Either way, please vote if you liked it!

Thanks.

Sometimes I wish I could go back,

Back to that time.

When I was your chaperon,

And you were mine.

The world whirled around,

But we stayed the same.

Abstemious for one another,

Passion, love, that inevitable carve.

We wrote our names on the sand,

And let the waves wash it away.

We told ourselves we'll be okay,

Then why aren't we?

Why does the bed still smell of you?

Why do the birds still chirp your name?

It's diabolic, despicable when,

We hopelessly root for things to change.

Life's unfair for the two of us,

And countless many.

And when I look back now,

I see nothing but mercy.
