Subhadra - The epitome of selfless love and sacrifice!

Teaming up

Arjun POV

We got ready and went to the field to practice when we saw Subhadra and Dushala walking through the garden, coming towards us while talking among themselves barely noticing us.

Ohho! How much these girls talk and giggle. Don't they ever get get tired talking amongst themselves and giggling like crazy. They appear like idiots when they giggle without even telling us the joke. They look at each other, then at me  and burst out laughing! Who does that? Laughing on a joke is okay but does my face look like a monkey that they have to laugh after looking at me?? 

"Bhrata Arjun and Bhrata Nakul, how did you like to take a bath again?" Dushala asked, looked at us and burst out laughing AGAIN!

"Dushu, tell me does my face look like a monkey to you that you look at me and start laughing?" I said unable to get over my curiosity

"That wouldn't be too incorrect" Dushala said giving a hi-fi to Subhadra

I ignored them and continued to focus on my archery. I could feel Subhadra's strong gaze at me which gave flutters in my heart but I tried to ignore it and concentrate. What will she think when a warrior whose skills are praised everywhere is not even able to hit the target? So I concentrated and aimed it.

"Wow sakha.....nice one" Subhadra said clapping her hands

Just then a mischievous plan clicked my mind. I turned around suddenly and aimed the arrow at Subhadra.

I smirked as I saw her panik-stricken face

I left my arrow and flowers fell over her. The shock in her eyes changed into amazement. She looked up at the flowers at then looked at me with her eyes wide open in shock

"Sakha, did you have to give me a heart attack before a beautiful shower of flowers" she complained

"I had heard that the princess of Dwarka is brave and skilled in archery. I didn't know she will get scared by her sakha just raising his bow." Arjun said innocently

"How can I forget that my sakha is the best archer as well? " Subhadra said

" Now that you have seen my skill, can I see your skill as well?"" Arjun asked

"Ahem Ahem" Dushala and Nakul coughed "We are here too" they said

Arjun and Subhadra looked at each other embarrassed. Nakul and Dushala winked at each other and walked towards Arjun and Subhadra's side respectively.

"I think Bhrata Arjun has proposed to you with these flowers" Dushala whispered in Subhadra's ear. 

"Did you propose to my sister by showering her with flowers? Nakul whispered in Arjun's ears

Subhadra and Arjun glared at Dushala and Nakul respectively

"So Bhrata, you and Bha..Sakhi were talking about showing Sakhi's skills. You want to see your sakhi's skills and not you sisters?" Dushala pouted

Arjun facepalmed himself and said "Dushu...of course I want to see your skills as well" Arjun said pulling Dushala's cheeks

"Then let us do a duel" Nakul said "........a friendly duel" Nakul added.

"Me and sakhi vs you and Bhrata Nakul" Dushala told us

"What!" I said hoping that I could be paired up with Subhadra

"What what? You and Subhadra know archery, me and Bhrata Nakul know sword fightning well. Oh or is it that you are afraid of hurting my sakhi?" Dushala said mischievously

"No Dushala....Bhrata Arjun is not scared of hurting Subhadra, he is scared of raising a weapon against her" Nakul smirked

I rolled my eyes in frustration "What can even I do when I have two annoying younger brother and sister who team up against me" I said

Here was today's chapter......nothing major happened.

But the next chapter is an awaited one.....THE FRIENDLY DUEL!

And....a new villain along with Nakul in the ArSu love story has been introduced.

And that is none other than.......Dushala!
