George placed his hand on to the cold door nob and took a deep, calming breath. He slowly turned it and creaked the door open slightly. The muffled music from the other side of the door started to spill into the room George was standing in. Before he finished pulling the door open, he was pushed back by the door and a women walked in.
"George! Oh my god, you scared me. Jesus christ." The women spoke with a wide grin. She wore extra short shorts and a small, tight bralette accompanied by tall heels and black fishnets. "You ready?"
George started at her, not paying any attention to her words. "George? Hello?"
"Oh right. Yeah uhm- sorry." He snapped back into reality and grinned back at her. She stepped past George to the back of the room as George finally walked out of the back room. The music was now clear in his ears and the dimmed pink, red, and purple lights took up his vision.
As George walked up to the stage with a pole in the middle he felt the eyes of many lock onto him. But this time, he had a different feeling. Whatever that feeling was it boosted his confidence. George strutted onto the big stage and grabbed the pole with both hands. He slowly started to walk around it, putting one foot infront of the other. After hearing a few whistles from the audience he started to put his legs around the poll and spin. He leaned back and his small crop top followed and revealed more of George, closing his eyes.
George flipped upside down while still slowly spinning on the poll. He opened them to the many watching him but locked eyes with a man in particular. His dirty blond hair fell over his eyes and he wore a white mask that glowed under the black lights. The man was sitting alone at the bar, holding a shot of what George guessed to be vodka. It's like the world fell into slow motion as George felt his face heat.
George smirked and broke the eye contact as he got off the poll. He walked infront of it, placing his back onto the poll with his hands above his head. George slowly slid down the poll whilst making eye contact with the man in the back of the club once again. This time, he kept the eye contact only to have his face get flushed with red again.
A few minutes pass and George got tired so he asked one of the other strippers to take his place. George walked over to the bar and smiled at the women standing behind the bar. She gave a small smile back and happily walked over to George.
"Hey George," she leaned down and placed her head into the palms of her hands, "you did great, as always. You done for the night?"
George giggled at her words "You are so odd, Maya. But yeah, I think I'm done. I didn't get much sleep at all last night." George sighed as Maya got up, walking to a small fridge and grabbed a bottle of cold water for George.
Maya placed it down in front of George and he took it, chugging it down. "So... Who was that?"
George looked down from chugging the water with a confused look on his face. He followed Maya's gaze to the man he saw while on stage. He turned to find the man had already locked his eyes on George again. "Oh, uhm, I'm not sure." Everyone that worked at the club knew that George was gay so it wasn't much of a surprise she brought him up.
Maya scoffed at his words. "Yeah, sure. I saw how you two looked at each other when you were on stage." George looks forward again to instead look at Maya.
George gave her a light shove and she giggled, walking away to serve the others sitting at the bar. George looked down at the empty water bottle and sighed.
"This seat taken?" A voiced asked, startling George. George looked up to see the man from earlier standing, looking down at him. George lifted his hand and gestured to the seat next to him and the man sat down. "So, George huh?"
