******Before I would start, I would like all of you to gocheck out my best friends story her name is peachipie4. It would really mean a lot to her. And her story is so good!!******

I finally get to my hotel and make my way through the crowds of fans and paparazzi. I get to the check-in desk.

"Name?" The lady asks me.

"Vanessa Wickmen." I tell her. She types a couple of things on her computer and then hands me my room key.

"Here you go miss. Room 1267. Good luck!" She says. she smiles at me as I walk away. I walk to the elevator and get in. I don't really recognize anybody in the elevator, all I know is that they're all USA Olympic athletes.

I press the 12th floor button.

Before I go any further I should probbaly tell you that I play soccer for the US women's Olympic team. It is 2012 and it is the London summer Olympics. I am 20 years old and my name is Vanessa Wickmen, which you probably already know if you've been paying attention.

The elevator gets to my floor and I walk out with all of my bags. I see a couple of the soccer girls and wave at them. I get to room 1267 and dig my room key out of my pocket. I get it out and open my room.

The first thing I see is that we have an ajoining room with the room next to us. This should be an interesting stay. I drag all of my bags inside of the room. I put them near a bed and collapse onto one of them.

Flying to England is not easy. It's tiring and boring.

I sit up and open up in of my suitcases. I take out my phone charger and plug in my iPhone.

A couple of minutes later I hear the door open. It must be my roommate. A girl walks in with her face down. But when she looks up I instantly recognize her.

"Maria? Is that you?" I ask her.

Maria Sanders was one of my three best friends in high school. I haven't seen her since I left.

"Yes. Is that you Nessa?" She asks me.

"Yes!" I run up to her and hug her. "I haven't seen you in forever!"

"It's so good to see you!" She says to me.

"Are you here for swimming?" I ask her.

"Yes. Are you here for soccer?" She asks me.

"Yes. I love it!" I say.

"So do I!" She says.

"You're 19 right?" I ask her.

"Yup! I'm turning 20 in 3 weeks." She says.

"That's fantastic!" I say.

"And you're 20 correct?" She asks me?

"Yessiree. I just turned 20 about a week ago." I tell her.

"Happy birthday!" She tells me.

"Thank you." I say.

"No problem. So, are you having fun playing with the soccer team?" Maria asks me.

"Yes I am! The girls are so nice! They've accepted me right away." I tell her.

"Well that's good to hear. All of the people in the swim team have also accepted me. It helps with being the youngest on the team." She says.

"I'm sure it does." I say. We talk for a bit more when their's a knock on the door.

"I'll get it." I say. I walk to the door and open it.

I see the two people who I would've never expected to see.
