The two people I see are my other two best friends from High School. Desiree Sandberg and Andy Roberts. But everyone calls Desiree, Desi. The only anybody her calls her Desiree is when they are extremely mad at her. Which doesn't happen very often, because she is such a nice, wonderful, caring person. Andy isn't short for anything. It's just Andy, and that's the way she likes it, Andy is also such a wonderful person. Though, she will stand up for any of us at any time. Like seriously, you don't want to mess with Andy.

"Vanessa?" Desi and Andy ask at the same time.

"Yes! Desi! Andy!" I say giving them each hugs.

"Nessa? Who is it?" Maria asks from the other room.

"Come look for yourself!" I tell her.

"Fine!" She says. She comes to the door.

"Maria!" Desi says. "This is so amazing!" Desi gives Maria a hug.

"What are you guys doing here?" I ask Andy and Desi.

"Well, we both got accepted to play basketball in the Olympics!" Andy says.

"That's amazing!" Maria says.

"I'm sorry, come in!" I tell them. They come in and sit down on the couches.

"And are you guys also here for the Olympics?" Desi asks.

"Yup! Nessa's here for soccer, and I'm here for Swimming!" Maria says.

"That's awesome!" Andy says.

"Where is your room?" I ask them.

"Our room is 1269." Desi says.

"Still as dirty minds as ever." I say.

"You know it!" Andy says. They high five each other.

"So is your room the room the adjoins with ours?" Maria asks.

"It is, and we were actually jus coming to ask about that and to see who our neighbors are." Desi says.

"Well, I think we're going to have the best time ever!!" I say.

"Do you guys remember when we were younger and we fantasized about coming here?" Andy asks.

"Yes! How could I forget!" Maria says.

"Well, we get to finally live our dream! And we get to do it together while doing what we love!" Desi says.

"This is truly the best thing I could ever wanted to have happen while being here. Other than winning a gold medal." I say.

"True." Andy says.

"You two are both 20 right?" Maria asks.

"Yup. I've been 20 for about 6 months now. And Andy has been 20 for about 3 months now." Desi says.

"That's fantastic!" I say.

"You're 19, right Maria?" Andy says.

"You betcha! But turning 20 in about 3 weeks." Maria says.

"Nessa, you're 20 correct?" Desi asks me.

"You are correct. I actually just turned 20 about a week ago." I say.

"Congrats Nes!" Andy says.

"Thank you Andy!" I say.

"You're welcome." Andy says.

"How have you girls fit on to your basketball game?" Maria asks Desi and Andy.

"Yes we have. All of the girls are awesome. They're also super nice accepting. How have you guys fit in?" Desi asks Maria and I.

"Really well actually. The girls in my team have been really accepting too." I answer Desi.

"Same with me." Maria says.

"Well that's good." Andy says.

"Yes it is. Does anybody else want a water?" I ask standing up to get a bottle of water.

"Yes please!" Maria says.

"Me too!" Desi says.

"Can I have one too?" Andy asks.

"Of course!" I say. I grab four water bottle from the fridge and go sit back down. I hand each of the girls a bottle of water. They all say thank you. "Have your coaches talked to you about not getting dehydrated too?" I ask all of the girls.

"A billion times." Desi says.

"Well, I suppose it's important. Especially since we're here now." I say.

"It is pretty important." Andy says.

"Being dehydrated is not fun." Maria says.

"No it isn't." I add.

We talk about more nonsense for the next two hours until curfew comes. We say our goodbyes and they head to their room. Maria and I each get into our beds.

I fall asleep thinking of how awesome this trip is going to be.

Little did I know, that this is only the beginning of a wonderful trip...
