Chapter-1 The Start

Hello There,
This story is about Harry Potter's youngest and only daughter.
And, none of these characters are mine they belong to J.K Rowling.

Lily woke up at the break of the dawn, no one else was up. She barged into James' room and started jumping on his bed."Jamie Jamie Jamie." A disgruntled brother replied "What the heck are you doing in my room at this ungodly hour? Get out!!" James shouted at his younger sister. He just could not believe how can one even wake up at this hour, not even the sun had risen.
Lilly's spirits were not dampened by her brother's 'ungodly' shouting. She went into her favorite brother's room. And shook Albus. Hard. He grunted, " Lulu, you know humans sleep at this time and not jump like a kangaroo. I know why you are here but you won't get your present before it's morning in the human world. Happy Birthday Lulu. Now go. Bye". "You know it's not how you should wish your younger sister. Show me some respect"
She went into her room looked at it happily and sighed " Well this is how my birthday is going. Great, now I become 11, I get my Hogwarts letter get sorted into Gryffindor, make friends for life and top all my classes."

It all happened at midnight. Now it was morning, Lily got dressed. As soon as she went into the kitchen she was greeted with the smell of pancakes. Harry took Lily into his arm and said " Happy Birthday my favorite child I will take you to the Diagon Ally today you will get to choose whatever you want" James came and sat on the chair with a plop and started yawning and complained to Ginny "Mom today Lulu did not let me sleep she started jumping on ME while I was sleeping." Ginny laughed and said "I understand Lily, your excitement I do I had to watch 6 of my brothers go to Hogwarts it was painful but you really should not jump on him...you should just throw a bucket of ice cold water" James jumped and exclaimed "MOM" Albus came in and wished Lily "Happy Birthday Lulu. Here's your gift." And he gave her two lockets and said "Through this, you can talk to any person you want but only those I know of, you can give the second locket to your best friend at Hogwarts it will multiply itself if you want" Lily hugged Albus and squealed "Thank Youuu soo much Al. You are the best". "What am I?" asked James "You are the worst Jamie" replied Lily.

Lysander loved his mother dearly. He at any cost could not afford to lose her. He wanted to cry sitting beside her bed but he had to remain strong for his father and brother. He just had to be their rock. He never wished for anything. Today all he wished for was for his mother getting better. Without her nagging, his father was not leaving her side. Without her dreamy voice, Lorcan was not able to sleep, and without her humming, without her words, without her funny jokes, Lysander could not bear to live. He and Lorcan will be leaving for Hogwarts today but his mother was still lying on the bed fighting for her life, she was not there to make a list of everything they would need in school, she was not there to hug them goodbye. He might make a friend but it was a hard pass because no one wanted to talk to him in his first year who would now.
Their father did not come to see them off. Lorcan had his best friend but Lysander became lonely during school time. Lorcan's best friend's father dropped them at the station. Now Lysander was sitting in the compartment alone. Then a knock came and a pretty girl with red hair and green eyes poked her head into the compartment and said nervously "Can I come in, everywhere else is full and my brothers are busy with their friends and Hugo found himself a really good friend it seems so. And don't want to interrupt their blooming friendship. I will be quiet if you want." Lysander could not contain his laughter it was so long since he had laughed and it seemed that this girl was very much like his mother after he calmed down he said motioning her in "You can come in and it seems you and I are in the same situation, our brothers all abandoned us. Don't worry I don't want you to be silent I would much rather prefer to talk than sit in silence. God knows I have had much of it."
She grinned and came in. She introduced herself " Hello my name is Lily Luna Potter, I am starting my first year, and I wish to be sorted into either Gryffindor"
Then Lysander introduced himself "My name is Lysander Scamander, I am starting my second year and I am in Gryffindor. And I wish to make at least a single friend this year."
She looked at him for 1 whole minute and then broke into a grin and said "I would love to be your friend Lysander though on one condition" "What?" "Can I call you Ly? but you are not allowed to call me Lulu"
"Well okay. Then I shall call you Lills."
