My Forever

Chapter 1

Today was supposed to be another typical day for me. I woke up, threw my robe on and went to the kitchen to make my morning coffee. When I turned the corner I was stopped in my tracks. There sat a dozen roses and breakfast on the counter. I looked around and saw him.

Jaden "Good morning Beautiful."

I still cant believe I found someone as amazing as Jaden. He never seems to stop surprising me.

Me "Good Morning Bub.."

I started to walk around the counter towards him. I slowly untied my robe and let it slowly slide down my shoulders and then to the floor. Jaden's eyes widened at the site. I loved how even after all this time our spark was very much alive. He closed the gap between us and cupped his hand under my chin and pulled my lips to his.

Kio " WOAHHHH sorry... I just uhh"

I turned around and grabbed for my robe. I had completely forgot that Kio was coming over this morning to get ready for our cooking video.

Me "Dammit, Im sorry Kio"

I turned to Jaden and hid my embarrassed face into his chest.

Me "I'm sorry Bub, I forgot. I swear this always happens to us."

He wrapped his arms around me and laughed.

Jaden "Its fine babe. I have forever to have you to myself."

I looked at the flowers and the food sitting on the counter and then looked up at him confused. That was the first time I had ever heard that come out of his mouth. What was going on?

Me "Forever?"

Jaden "Dont over think it Bub. Its just an expression."

My heart dropped. I dont know why but hearing him say forever made me too happy. But I guess it really was just an expression. I forced out a small laugh.

Me " Yeah I know that. Its a tad fast to be thinking that anyways."

I leaned up and kissed him really quick and then ran off to my room.

I got to my room and sat down on my bed. I couldn't help but start thinking about that forever comment. The flowers, the breakfast ... did Kio interrupt more than just us kissing? What was going on? Is it too soon for us to start thinking about a serious future? We have already been through so much together. I trust that boy with my life. But then I think back to the last time I had a ring on my finger. Everything always seems to start falling apart when I make big decisions like that. I started to feel anxious and really just wanted to forget about everything that was just said.

I tried to shake off all these thoughts and started to get dressed. I didn't want to take too long because I knew Kio was down there waiting to film.

I threw on some clothes and headed back to the kitchen. When I got there Jaden was gone.

Kio "He left to go back to the sway house. He said he had some things he needed to take care of but he would be back later."

Kio and I have gotten so close that it's like he knows how to read my mind. I know he could tell something was off with me but I just again try to shake it off.

Me "that's fine. We have to get our video done today anyway. It's just less distractions if he's not here."

Kio  "Are you sure you're fine? Because you look like you have a lot more on your mind than what you're letting on"

Me "Yeah it's nothing. Just..."

I took a deep breath.

Kio "Just over thinking again?"

Me "Yup"

Kio "Wanna talk about it?"

Me "Nope"

Kio "Then quit moping, hit record and get me the damn eggs out of the fridge already."

I walked over to the fridge and placed my hand on the handle. I let out a sigh and looked at Kio.

Me "Thank you..."

He just flashed me he innocent little smile and nodded his head.
